Dartmouth still being alive and UNH not makes me very happy given the trolls on this board. If Dartmouth somehow gets 2 Ws this coming weekend to make the NCAAs for the first time in 35 years... well, that would be something. Probably couldn't make it to the east coast but if they got sent out west,...

In what world is "only homemade alcohol should be allowed" a nuanced take?...

The worst part is I don't disagree that Twitter et al are generally bad for everyone, but that doesn't mean you should break links to it....

Not entirely correct. They show you more of what you pause to engage with. There's plenty of times that's stuff you hate, because of the Howard Stern effect....

Don't forget he threw snark at centrists first and then got upset when one of them (me) threw pretty minimal snark back at him about the Twitter links....

As someone in the industry, though one who avoids regional and federal issues where possible, it isn't as cut and dried as that author makes it out to be. There's plenty of blame to go around to all on the transmission issue....

I mean, that's fairly standard for worker's comp. It's the tradeoff for them covering all work-related injuries....

I guess I can understand this now. Was only in my splint and sling for 3 weeks and the range of motion for my elbow is completely out of whack. Gets a little better every day and started physical therapy to really push it (within the realm of my lifting restrictions), but if that all happened after...

The 3-points for a win comes from anal retentive people who went ape**** at the idea regulation games meted out 2 points but overtime games were worth 3 points (since the loser gets one). They demanded all games hand out the same number of points, so here we are with standings that would cause 99% of...

I use my brain at work. I shouldn't have to do more than basic arithmetic to figure out standings for a sport....
