That third period was an unmitigated cluster. They are fortunate to have survived. I don't like the way they are playing lately.
Regardless of what Brown has said, am I the only one that is starting to get concerned about Perreault? Yesterday's game mattered, so I have to believe that...

I was just looking over the stats and noticed that Ryan Leonard is PLUS 32. That's a full plus 10 better than anyone else on BC. What an amazingly well-rounded all around player he is for a freshman. I'll say it again, he's a souped up version of Patrick Eaves.

Fowler was the best player on the ice. It was a good thing, because he needed to be. BC played the first two periods last night like they were disinterested, almost as if they didn't realize that hey, if they lost the last two games, BU could still win the league. Glad they won, glad it's behind...

The boys really took care of business tonight. That second period was an absolute horse whipping, about as dominant a period as you could hope for. Kind of academic after that.

The post 2016 season exodus of underclassmen leaving early had a multi-year spillover effect and set BC back for a significant period of time. That played a big part in the downturn....
