Interesting, hard to know if it isn't just Joe wondering aloud, as he does follow the program. As the days tick by, I'm thinking there won't be a change, but I suppose this period of time leading up to the FF its still possible.
If there were a change, one long shot candidate I'd love...

Not to hijack the thread, but I completely agree. Siena fired the wrong guy. John D'Argenio has alone (no search company) made the hire of the last four (?...5?) coaches since Fran McCaffrey....all of whom were either duds or jumped ship after a year. He gave the kiss of death "vote of confidence'...

If true, that student should feel blessed that they did not receive a butt end to the forehead....it would have been warranted!...

He was a warrior for Gate! I dunno how you couldn't like the kid. Didn't he break the program for save made and minutes played? Good luck to Carter !...

Agree RB. The kid that could likely come in and take the reigns is Borgiel from Merrimack. He platooned with with Ollas last season in Mack's deep run into the NCAAs. This year Ollas took a few more starts from him (and just signed his pro deal with NYR). I understand the desire to avoid a one year...

Agree 100% Doc. The cliche is just that because it is true...defense is 3/4 effort and attitude, which is why this year's team was really disappointing. You don't have to be a five star kid to play strong defense..it is the will and attitude to defend...and too many times we didn't have that this season....

First ECAC domino to fall. Princeton parts ways with Ron Fogarty following his 10th year as head coach of the Tigers. He finishes with a record of 90-169-27. One ECAC championship and NCAA appearance.

Well, I'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the issues plaguing the women's team. According to USCHO, the current coach sports a head scratchingly bad .303 WP. This, despite having recruited some really talented players over the years. It could (should?) be argued that the larger,...

I agree with much of this. However, for me, Lee is a coin flip in the cost-benefit analysis. He has legit speed and skill, but as has been agonizingly well documented on this forum, he has a keen knack for taking bad penalties in bad areas at bad moments in games. His situational intelligence needs...
