maybe, like Shaq, he can get it done in the NHL....

My 3 daughters have all played women's lacrosse from 1st grade through the club level, several teammates went on and still are competing at D1 level. The rules are weird, and women's lax compared to men's is apples and ham sandwiches. However, great fun all around. Glad to see a RPI legacy sport...

It's interesting to note the apparent significant disparity in recruits does not appear to correlate to a similar disparity in performance like a) cumulative winning percentage [.418 vs .374] & b) Lake Placid appearances [0-0], for starters, on the ice.

I agree w/ the entirety of your post, except for the opening comment re: reasonable expectation. My bar was set back in 1978-79 time frame as a young fan, prior to going to RPI. I expect RPI to be a winning program, and shows up to wherever the ECAC final 4 happens to be in a given year. I don't...
