ABT is notorious for having their fingers in Alaska politics, businesses, and even the police department here in Anchorage. When our current GOP mayor was elected, with the help of ABT where he's a member, he fired the police chief and installed a new one that was a member of the church. They own a...

Tangentially related to TV but, WBD announced this week that they’re closing Rooster Teeth Productions. RT was the creators of web series’ such as Red vs Blue, RWBY, and Gen:Lock. Of course they were also huge on YouTube with channels such as Achievement Hunter and Funhaus.

*shrug* No idea. Best guess is probably redo the shootout with the proper lineup.
Although, apparently CONCACAF said it was a concussion sub and therefore legal. Though that’s very debatable that it actually is (Laws of the game are pretty specific on no field player subs once ET...

I was sick with “bronchitis”. I went to the ER with all the symptoms and, despite the fact I work at the airport with multiple daily flights from Asia, was never tested.

So we almost got the most CONCACAF moment of all time.
Apparently, Canada made a substitution after the extra time had ended but before the kicks, something that is not allowed unless it’s the goalkeeper. So if Canada had won there’s a good chance that the game could’ve...

Watching UAA versus Stonehill (UAA won 9-3 while mostly goofing around) was very conflicting. On one hand it was nice to see UAA dominate, on the other it was very much a “yeah, been on that end too” sadness towards Stonehill.

TBH, I could see an eventual fracturing of both parties. The GOP because of the Dump cult and all that’s been said here. But if the GOP fractures and the Dems start pulling huge wins I could see that eventually putting the left wing and the centrist wing at odds, especially because the left wing...

For the first time in 13 years Mexico has beaten the USWNT tonight at the CONCACAF W Gold Cup. Thankfully for the USWNT it was just a group stage match.
Final score: 2-0.
Edit: Also the first time the USWNT has lost at home to a CONCACAF team since 2000.Last edited by Jimjamesak; 02-27-2024, 12:40 AM.
