Any chance that you guys complaining about the process are the "few sticklers"? And do you seriously believe that the students went to GAC/River Falls thought the whole NCAA process would change to their benefit while they were in school? I highly doubt they "assumed" the whole...

There is an article on USCHO.com bemoaning that St. Norbert and Adrian are playing in the QF this weekend. Except his argument is that the #4 team shouldn't play the #5 team in a QF matchup. Except that's exactly who the #4 team should play in a QF. If you look at the Pairwise, they are #3 and #6...

I'm not sure what you guys want here. If the NCAA (and the member institutions - including the western ones) wanted a no-nonsense best of the best battle royal tournament, they wouldn't have automatic qualifiers. That's not what the NCAA (and the member institutions) elected to sponsor. They have...

I sympathize. I'm a Plattsburgh State fan back to the days when we crammed 3500 people into the Stafford. We made more than 20 straight conference final appearances. The SUNYAC final this year was "sold out" in minutes, but there were dozens if not a few hundred empty seats. I know where...

Yes, but this isn't Div I football or basketball. Are there a pool of candidates without jobs just waiting to uproot their family and move to (***insert name of Div III town here***)? Or a pool of candidates currently with jobs looking to uproot their family...

And the SUNYAC conference flames out of the NCAA tournment with an 0-4 record (men and women), losing 2 games at home and Cortland losing two on the road. The two home teams scored exactly zero goals. Farewell to Geneseo and Brockport. I hope the grass is truly greener where you are headed...

I'm not sure "fairest" way possible is anywhere in the criteria. "Fairest" would seem to include #12 Princeton instead of #30 Stonehill. I get the AQs and are not arguing against them, just saying the NCAA never claims to be "fair". They have criteria to get teams in...

There are 25 games listed... no non-conference game with Plattsburgh either (other than the LayerEight Tourney). I don't see either side giving that game up. How many games are they allowed in D-III?...

D3 men's basketball as also authored some really unique brackets. With travel restrictions and a 64 team tourney, some highly ranked teams end up meeting much earlier than they are supposed to. Even the pod hosts have been a real eye opener at times....

Maybe this wasn't clear to everyone, but through our discussion, this was my understanding. We know that games from certain places would always be the last to report and I thought the consensus here was that the school was to "blame" for it. I also get, as with the D-III tournament, that...

The women’s bracket is out and for what it’s worth, the #1 seed and the #3 seed are playing in the QF to avoid flights. Sets up to fly 3 teams west for a FF though.

And the final numbers show Plattsburgh dropping a couple spots to #12... a dive into schedule begrudgingly shows how weak our schedule was. We did beat Geneseo twice, but those were the only top 10 games we even played this year. Curry owns a win over #2 Trinity as their best win. Not sure how Skidmore...

NCAA.com has one, but last I checked it hasn’t been updated since last weekend....

So everyone’s guessing. They don’t have to drop. Curry didn’t do anything to move up (except not play)… the rankings already reflect a non-win. Will a loss really drop them enough to lose a position? I was hoping someone actually knew....

As of 7:49 this morning, Plattsburgh is still showing on my device as #10. Where do you see they dropped to #11?...

As of 10:21 pm, USCHO shows Plattsburgh Cortland as a 3-3 tie in OT. Does the Pairwise treat it as a tie, or is the game not correctly reflected in Pairwise right now? It would seem right now that if Tufts wins tomorrow, Geneseo is the last at large (and Plattsburgh is out). If Trinity wins, Plattsburgh...

I'll pass right now, but you continue to pat yourself on the back... as of 10:21 pm, if Trinity beats Tufts tomorrow, SUNYAC likely gets three teams into the NCAAs....
