Lets get it started. Ugh!
Pep bands add to the experience of attending a DI college hockey game. In your experience which schools' bands contribute the most to the atmosphere of DI college hockey?
Corbett put on a pretty impressive presentation last night. He brought enthusiasm and stressed his work ethic. Being from Air Force he's used to recruiting challenges and intends to start with the U16 program. He has a stronger recruiting network in the midlands than our past coaches have had and...
As I discussed in the Top 25 Greatest Teams of the NCAA Era thread, I have put together a tournament for the Top 100 Greatest Teams of the NCAA Era (according to my formula). I figured a new thread would probably work best. Here is the bracket... ...

The sadness of the playoff run ending will hopefully be fading and the memories of another magnificent, if turbulent season will hopefully remain. We lose a senior class which distinguished themselves and will remain forever etched in the annals of Union Hockey. Filling their skates will be a...
Fine, I'll set it up myself.
Well we are starting to see players leaving. When does Bjug's leave? Today, tomorrow, next week?
Will (average) fans be able to get excited about North Dakota or Denver? Will Mullin or Coleman rebound from a sophomore slump? Will tWoods continue to sponsor our not so powerful power plays? I have many questions about the moving to the NCHC but us dominating these fools is not one of them.
Last weekend of the 2012-13 Regular Season. Series Sweep would be great for our Seniors!
Here we go! http://www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com/sports/m-hockey/spec-rel/042413aaa.html
3-3 tie to York University. Coach Marshall video imbedded in story. http://www.uconnhuskies.com/sports/m-hockey/recaps/100612aab.html
Yeah yeah, Spock is the 3rd movie. So sue me.
Like I said, I think it was time for a new thread after reading the ESPN Boston story on Team Impact. It's obvious last year on the ice was a disappointment. But I think with some perspective, this is still a talented hockey team with a very high ceiling.
So, can we put to bed the theory that OOC games don't matter? Every single OOC win helps the conference's strength of schedule. That's good for Atlantic Hockey, and by extension, good for RIT. Topics for the offseason: The class of 2017; the Gene Polisseni Center; the 2013-14 schedule. ...
Stats for UML recruits through last night (regular season). I'm still listing Wilson as a 2011 though I've heard he might be 2012. 2011 Name POS TEAM (League) HT WT DOB GP G A PTS PIM Tyler Brickler LW Westside Warriors (BCHL) 5'11 175...
Six - Nill... Season over. It's going to take most of the summer to get over that game in light of all the other great moments that the Huskies provided during the 2013-14 season. Hopefully that bitter taste leaving UND tonight will only serve to fuel for the fire to raise the bar again for...
Early word Peca is returning along with Kellen Jones. Winnipeg also wants JST to stay in school one more year. Players out Hartzell Bui Davies Currie Loren Barron Dalhuisen
If you would like to catch up... http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?94422-The-Greatest-Programs-of-All-Time-1-58&p=5430408#post5430408 2012-2013 Preseason Standings: 1. Michigan - 492.1054 points 2. North Dakota - 439.9358 points 3. Minnesota - 411.0563 points 4. Denver - 353.8417...
I know this doesn't belong here, but college hockey of all kinds deserves support. University of Georgia is trying to get a small rink near Athens Georgia for their ACHA D3 team. Check ou their online interest survey, especially if you live in the area or know someone that does. ...
Well our last thread got locked at the right timing to start the offseasom thread. Loss yesterday was still tough but we did have a very good run. Now all we have to do is wait. In other news, if anyone else was at the Tsongas, there any reason why Hockey East hasn't put our plaque on the...
Last thread was maxed out. Time to start a new one.
Atlantic Hockey will go to 13 scholarships in 14-15, and 14 scholarships in 15-16. They are also in talks with two insitutions about expansion. http://www.atlantichockeyonline.com/news/2012-13_News/policychanges051713 Discuss...
OK Folks, since someone asked about it, I might as well start up the thread... https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjrUzfoOPCB5dFpad2hLYkFoMW8wRTkzQmR3U1BpWWc&pli=1#gid=0 New this year, of course, the subtraction of the CCHA, and addition of both the BTHC and the BHHC- er NCHC. Penn...
Time to set the next season up, we know this team is improving and with the year that has past and will only get better, lets shoot for the final 16 with our eye on Philly in 2014......we can get there !!!!
Those at or watching the Regionals, if you could post your "guesstimates" as to how many are at each of the games this weekend, I am sure many would like to know.
Please do NOT hesitate to continue the National championship celebration here. I was driving up 95 in West Haven today and thought how great it might be to have one of the State DOT national championship signs right in front of West Campus. :D
Yeah!!!! Wasnt That An Awesome 5-0 Loss Tonight To A Cha Team!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!! That Was One Of The Most Pathetic Ncaa Games I Have Ever Seen! I Traveled 5 Hours To Watch That Travesty! Walt Kyle Needs To Go! He Is Leading This Team Straight Down The Tubes And Into The Pits!! It Is Time...
Well, I started it, so you're stuck with it. Carry on. :D
I didn't expect it to come on a Sunday night in CCHA playoff week 2, but here we are. Important for the program to find some respectability, and going 6-5 in the last 11 is a positive way to contemplate the next 27 weeks.
No one else has started a thread for the new season so I thought I would start one. Both the Globe and the Harvard Crimson had articles today about the fact that one of the leading basketball players has withdrawn from Harvard due to the Gov1310 scandal and the Globe indicated that there is...
New thread without reference to a certain hockey player who decided to pass on an incredible UVM hockey experience. Still a lot to look forward to this season, as evidenced by the somewhat optimistic thread title. So....how bout we talk some UVM hockey?!?
Well... where do we go from here?
Hoping to say, "we beat the national champ" but no such luck. Two commitments for next year, hoping for another strong class to build on last year. Baby steps!
