thecomicbookguy & whiteout, u guys should run a business...LOL. MAYBE Napster II?

I want no part of the RIAA and their lawsuits. I actually used to run a business, but not so much anymore. I don't actively seek business anymore, but I am always willing to take requests. I enjoy making music mixes although thecomicbookguy isn't a fan of my 80's Mix or Early 90's Dance Mix, but he did like my Late 90's Rock Mix. What can I say I like most types of music and have a good collection, but NO COUNTRY!

Anyway, can't wait to see all of you at the Fleet.

I'm "whiny" (note proper spelling) because you get all defensive when someone criticizes you (or in this case your signs). Well, not "whiny."

Dave, take some constructive criticism and admit that you might not always be right 100% of the time.

And just remember, you injected yourself into the wearing/not weaing jerseys argument, so this, frankly, is none of my fault.

See you all there!!! 4 days and counting!!! tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock...****, time is going way too slow!!! :p

see above. where did you provide any constructive criticism? or is this what they call it at concrete u.? furthermore go on and show me where in this thread or anywhere for that matter ive claimed to be "right" about everything. theres nothing in this thread to even be right about, except that A) not everyone will have on jerseys or other team gear, and B) youre in the small minority of people who doesnt like signs.......and i was right about both of those

the end :D

1) I criticized your signs not too many weeks ago. You got all defensive. "Well, the people on the team seem to enjoy them." "The other fans seem to enjoy them." I was originally half-kidding. Now I just don't care. Moving on.

The constructive criticism was that you lighten up. Yes, I realize now that I probably should have said "Here's some constructive criticism: You aren't 100% right all the time, so try to work with that." Well, the only explanation there is that it was late and I was tired. Perhaps if you hadn't come off in such a PMSy "Well, not EVERYONE will have jerseys on" kinda way, there would be no problem. And I agree that most people like your signs. Most people like lots of stupid things.

In the end, Dave, it all comes down to context. My context was one of jokingness (which is a word I made up just now). I realize not EVERYONE will have a jersey. It's called hyperbole. Look it up.

Your context was one of indignation. "Yeah, I'm sure EVERYONE'S gonna have jerseys *insert needless smileys here*." My advice is that you just take it down a few notches and get down off your high horse.

I think it's funy how often arguments start because one of us interprets the way somebody posts something. It is difficult at times to know if someone is saying something that is supposed to have a tone of sarcasm or one of rigtheous indignation. If I write Metcalf's a goon, how would Maine fans take it? Would they think I was joking around, or would they defend Metcalf? Sometimes you can tell by knowing the poster's history, sometimes the poster will use a smiley to indicate they aren't very serious.
