Team Captain Handy and the rest of the Maroon and Gold faithful
Thank you for allowing me to participate. Even though my computer connection sucks, I had a blast!
Her Royal Badgerness and Team Bucky
You guys were awesome and I am sure you will represent the WCHA with class against Merrimack
Team Husky (DUDE)
I am sorry it did not work out for you guys...better luck next year. Happy b-day dude and if I ever meet ya, I am gonna buy you a beer.
Chuck and Jim
You guys are the greatest. I told Handy that we really need to send you guys a case for all of your hard work. Thank you again and again and again. I really enjoyed competing and will follow Team Bucky as they move to the next level!

Lemme be the first to bring up the conspiracy theory!!
I think Jen already has Chucky boy in her pocket. How else would the Final Jeopardy Question be about Dean Talafous. The favored player of Jen's Mom.
Something smells in the land of cheese!!
err. and it's not the cheese! http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/tongue.gif

Chuck, I have had an absolute gas playing.
The only thing I can think of that would be better is coming up with the questions.
Next year I would strongly consider helping you bring the five minute answer window into play. http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/wink.gif
WWW for 40 pts. - Who was the only player in the 1982 WCHA regular season to alternately score points off of assists and then goals for nine points over a twelve game window?
This could get wicked bad.
For the record: our answer was a team effort, it wasn't me. We emailed back and forth a bunch and discussed it and finalized it, I sent the email.

Same here...my guess by the way was wrong...but it would have done the Bucky faithful proud!!

Has anyone been following the CCHA game problems? I say we start a WCHA all-star team, and beat them in their own conference. I have a sneaking suspicion that we could research their questions faster then they could answer them.
Who's with me? This would at least ensure a game.
Sorry Nathan. The CCHA jeopardy game will be held without the WCHA all star team. We may not have the full 5 people per team, but we have enough for a game (says he who's played a 20-minute period, stop-clock hockey game on a team that had a total of 4 forwards, 2 defensemen, and 1 goalie)

Except for the last few questions. http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif I've been out of the office (and will be until Thursday) but I thought I would jump in and say it was a pleasure helping out. I learn a lot of good trivia from watching you guys play.

In the ever so remote possibility that it would have an effect on Bucky's wager, today is Stan Laurel's birthday.
Another fine mess you've gotten me into...

Since I hail from the land of ore boats and army worms, I will once and for all settle this matter of pronunciation.
Not Duluth, not Dooloot,
Everyone say it with me,
DULOOTH, MINNIESODA! Don't ya know?

This was flat-out embarassing. Thank god no one knows who I really am, or I'd be strung up from a tree outside the NHC.
