Don't tell me it's the Hamm's Beer Chest, or the Stroh's 30 pack.

Nope, Bud or Bud Light. Not enough people were striking out so now we've added a rule that if we have a 1-2-3 inning at the plate, the three batters have to split buying a 30-pack.

That's the nice thing about a bar league, you strike out, you walk back into the bar and come out with three pitchers, or if you're lucky, the waitresses will come down to the bench to take orders during the game.

What!?!? You have a bar next to the field!?!? http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/eek.gif

That probably is a good rule, going down in order. We'll probably have more K's tonight then the rest of the year. You only get 1 foul ball or swing and miss, to try to cut down on the scoring as well, which is a good rule. I really like the Texas Shootouts where you get 1 pitch and that's it hit, walk or K.

Half our team, may not be able to walk if we had a bar behind us. Tournies suck as you can't bring your own and Cases are 30 to 35 dollars.

Oh yeah Jim, the best leagues in the cities now play at bars. Huge sports bars with three or four fields behind them, basically box seating with tables, huge fences with nets, 30 foot walls in the corners, it's great. THe only problem is that our team tends to have 7:15 and 9:15 doubleheaders, and we're all ripped by the 9:15 game from our hour off.

The Show for 20 pts.

This highly-touted left winger on the "Hrkac Circus" line ended up scoring more goals and points in his senior season than he did in an unspectacular 6 yr. NHL career.

We start the count at 1-1 and you only get one foul once you have two strikes against you. During the playoffs they go to the 1-pitch shootout.

I couldn't remember if Joyce or Johnson was the left wing.

It had to be Joyce, because I remember the battles he had with Cory Millen. I still say Millen was the better college player even though Joyce got first team all-WCHA

No, I cancelled AOL last month, and haven't been on in a long time. I don't even remember what my other one was, but I know that I can't use it at work because of our firewall.
