She wants to major in either biology for education, cellular biology or environmental biology. I told her if she wanted to do that she should've gone to Stevens Point, but she hated her visit there, besides, she's getting some money from a vocal scholarship, and is going to play hockey there.
My mom is trying to talk her into nursing (which apparently is their big thing), but she isn't too interested in that. She's really into hard biology.

I was at that game, was it the Avs or Devils? I can't remember. Either way it was awesome, I was just waiting for someone to kick Thor's *****. However, it's still not as good as the Gopher game a few years ago when Goldy checked the sub, then while he was pounding on him, about 6 more subs came out from the Zamboni area and beat up Goldy.

Handy would've loved it.

Well, close the X, I recommend Kincaid's or Pazzaluna. It depends upon whether you want steak, fish, chops, that kind of thing or you want Italian. However, Cossetta's pizza is also fantastic. Kincaid's also has a great bar, very high class, huge leather seats, marble tables, great Martini selection, as well as high quality whiskeys, bourbons and scotchs.

Nathan: Can't comment too much on the Bio dept, I took my one required lab class and thought it was horrible. http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif (thankfully, the professor lasted only that semester). Nursing is the big major there, as well as education. I still think the campus is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. Tell her to plan her classes so she doesn't have to walk up the hill more than once or twice a day, if she plans to live on top of it. http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif

Yeah, as far as I know, she's planning to live in one of the towers. She really liked the campus, and wanted to follow me to a small school in northeast Iowa, but as it turned out, she got a better deal from UWEC.

I was there...and laughed so hard I cried!!! Still the best moment with goldy!! Well until we got revenge for him kneeing me in the nuts!! When Section 14 helped me drop Goldy on his ***, I was never more proud!!

You guys remember 2 years ago when the AV Mites were playing during the SCSU game at the end of the season, and that dude, I think he was number 88 scored 2 goals and made a sweet as move and almost got the Hatty??? Then as he was leaving the announcer said, "We would like to thank the Apple Valley Mites for playing here tonight...AND GET ** A SCHOLARSHIP!!" We were getting our *** handed to us at the time, but the place went nuts when we heard that!!! GOTTA LOVE THE MIGHTY MITES!!

I would also like to extend a "Thumbs up" to Chuck and Jim. Even though my connection sucks, this has been a blast!!! It makes the offseason a little more bearable. (Even if we are losing to the Cheese! http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/wink.gif)

go4hockeyaddict,

No problem at all, I'm glad I can help but my job is very, very easy. Chuck has done all the hard work, this is his show. http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif

I get the best of both worlds on this one. I am winning, but I don't have to wear red polyester. Although I once put a Wisconsin sticker on my wife's car just to make her mad.

Jen- When were you at UWEC? Some of my friends played for Mike Eaves there.

College Hockey Dark Ages for 50 pts.

Who were the three (3) different players to win the WCHA Player of the Year award for UMD in consecutive seasons in the mid-'80's?

Correct answer requires only the names of the 3 players
