No, no, it must just be my connection! It can't be anything I'M doing!
jen,
I am not giving you "sour grapes" you know the answers and are getting them in quickly...and deserve ma credit no doubt!!! But at school I had an LAN, and now I use a modem at home and DSL at work so I know the differences in refresh and load time for all of them. LANs are super fast, and refresh before your done clicking the button almost. DSL is almost the same, take about 2 seconds. Modems puts me 6-10 seconds behind and so when I am done refreshing, your answer is already there...that is all I am saying!!
You are winning fair and square...I am not crying conspiracy or anything!!! You have all the knowledge...you are Einstein...I am Forrest Gump!!
I am not a smart man but I do know what getting your *** kicked means http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif

Team Bucky, I wasn't shortchanging any thing you were doing.
I just feel like I've only got one skate on.

Sorry gang!
I did not get booted up in time - there were already two answers up before I got on!
My DA says I should resign in favor of someone with a decent connection. I told him that I tried but Handy wouldn't let me.
Blame Handy!!!
Sorry bud!

Good, we're heading for the Dark Ages.
I was there, according to my kids anyway.

I'm just scared that eventually there will be a wisconsin question. I figure there will be at least four answers from TB before I even get to read the question.

Okay gang, mathematically we are not out of it yet, frankly, SCSU could still get in the game, but I think you actually need people playing for that to happen. So, we need to get this one, and some of the other 50s to get back in it. All hope is not lost.

Correct answer: Bret Hedican. Team Bucky marches on with 30 more points ...
Bucky 390
Goldy 70
SCSU 0
------------------------
Team Bucky has already selected the next question. Sorry for my delay. After the next question, I'll be stepping out to feed my face, but I should be back in plenty of time to post the next question ...
... unless of course lunch involves a buffet line, in which case this game could end up postponed indefinitely!!! http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/wink.gif

Hey I tried to resign as Captain but no one allowed it!! I take full blame!!
But I stil like my team, and even with PJ on the other team, I don't know how much I would change. There was no chance I was getting jen (a "blue chippah") cause she is from cheeseland!! I should have never agreed to allow them to have mercs on the team, but hindsight I guess...**** BADgers and your hired guns http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/wink.gif
Dont get down troops, just keep trying and sooner or later we have to get one in on time. We have been close on the last couple and I feel we will make this game respectable going into Final Jeopardy!! If we can do that...I think we have a shot.
Our failures as a team, are my failures as a captain!!

Oh Handy, it isn't your fault. We didn't know that Sig wouldn't be around, or that PJ would be the superstar that he is. Okay, maybe we did know that. Those darn Badgers are just that **** good. We need to start talking smack again. At least it was fun for us then.

Chuck-
If you transfer, do you have to sit out a season of CH Jeop?
On, the other hand, only the reigning champs get an autospot next year, and if TG wins that they'll probably not change anything.

Chuck,
If PJ wants to transfer, he should be forced to sit out the next question or two at most!! We would happily welcome him to the land of milk and honey, but if te other players object...BITE ME!! WE NEED HIM BAD!! Jen you have answered more questions alone today then we have collectively!!
Come un bucksters...what better way to show your stuff than to win even without a Minnesota Player...hmmmmmmmm!!!

PJ is rapidly becoming Joe frickin Bianchi.

Heh-heh - I haven't gotten that far with the rules, PJ. But I'd pay serious money to be a fly on the wall, listening in on a meeting between you and Handy negotiating terms for your return to TG and a CH Jeopardy contract for next year ... http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/wink.gif

We will offer a first round draft choice, as well as PJ sitting out 1 question.
Plus, I'll buy Team Bucky a beer at next years series at Mariucci, or possibly the football game.

We can't talk about this now. That would be tampering and could impact my eligibility.
