Correct answer: Mark Cullen who scored a point in 26 consecutive games for Colorado College just last season. That's 30 pts. for Team Bucky, which puts them in the lead ...
Bucky 90
Goldy 70
SCSU 0
------------------------
Control remains with Team Bucky. jen looks to have had her Wheaties this morning for sure ... http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif

I'm enjoying this thoroughly so far, Jim! http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif
I'd probably use the word *entertaining* in place of "weird", though ... http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/biggrin.gif
First emcee observation - in the HE Jeopardy game, there was no real flaming or trash-talking, yet in WCHA Jeopardy, it's "shoot from the hip" city!!! I thought it was us Easterners who were known for that kinda "in your face" stuff ... http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/confused.gif
... actually it does show how much fun this can all be when you leave the name-calling stuff out of it.
Enough psycho-babble from me ... I want more Biblical rants from Captain Handy!!! http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/eek.gif http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/wink.gif

Sorry to jump into your game, but after reading through all ten pages of this thread, I have made one observation: the two teams which have yet to answer a question incorrectly (and lose points) arenot in first. Granted SCSU has yet to answer any question, but how do all of the Badgers get answers up so fast. It should be an even playing field with everyone having the same speed computers. It just seems to lock other people out of the game, such as Handyman it seems. Oh, well. Go non-Wisconsin teams, show them what we can do! Maybe SCSU will even answer a question to get themselves in the game.

Captain jen of Team Bucky has just selected the Daily Double!!!
What does this mean? First of all, it means that Team Goldy and Team SCSU should take an early lunch break. This is all gonna boil down to Team Bucky at 11:00 Central time.
Team Bucky now has twenty (20) minutes from the time stamp on this message to make its Daily Double wager. Default wager if they're late will be the 40 pt. position of the question on the board. Team Bucky can wager anything from 0-90 pts. on this one.
Right or wrong, Team Bucky then gets the next selection for the noontime question ...

Well I consulted the good book, and found a passage that warns of what could happen if Team Bucky wins...it can be found in Genesis chapter 6 verse 7:
And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the Earth; both man and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repeateth me that I have made of them.
So Chuck, give them questions they can answer at your own risk...for it may be the end of the world if they win http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif
Does this question have the same 5 minute time limit?

Whow we better not screw this one up. Should we somehow consult before answering? We could do so on a new topic I guess.

No pressure jen.
None at all.
Really, seriously, no pressure.
This is going to be a huge turn of events here.

That's another thing about Hockey East, most of them don't have farms to bet.
B1 and PJ: let's consult via email or in another thread before answering. we have 10 minutes to answer.

Ooh, PJ. Good point. However, I believe there may be a few vineyards around Concord MA. But really, which would you rahter have?

I say open another thread as we've seen Email tends to get lost once in a while. I'll have about 6 sites open ready for this one.
Or if Chuck will allow, can we discuss our answer first on this thread, before giving our "Final Answer"?
