I don't know completely what I'm doing, but my plan, as of now, is to meet at some swank riverside bar, have a little drinky-poo. Then, we'll have a little din-din, at some overpriced, romantic restaurant. The kicker will be coming back to the apartment...where I will have laid rose petals on the floor, creating a path that leads from one gift to another, throughout the apartment...nothing too expensive, just small gifts to prolong the excitement...and have the trail lead to the bed with the expensive gift (whatever that may be) covered in rose petals. How does that sound jens?
As to Temptation Island..sooo funny! Last night was blast...what a bunch of morons. Hey, let's go play this game, on a romantic island with a bunch of randy singles, test our relationship, but then flip out when we realize that our significant other is doing something with one of the singles, even though we told him/her to enjoy themself. They all deserve what they're getting...but it's keeping me entertained.
Lunch is over.

vic: flowers are good, but I agree, don't go with just plain old red roses... maybe orchids or lilies...

No...I've got some ideas, but nothing is firm. My girlfriend is out of town this weekend, so I've had to wait until now to shop. I've never bought jewelry for her, but this may be the time to do it, as I was able to finagle what she's looking for out of here, without her knowing. If not, then I'll resort to something smaller on the scale. I already have some cute candles for cheap gifts.

well, finally i just get in (notice time, @1 am) after leaving my room at 9am... **** 4 hour opera had to start at 8pm. but still, we have enough time to have some beers at uno's DURING the second act! haha!!

Just trying to do my part to get us up closer to the 900 posts by Beanpot Championship Monday. Speaking of which, the anxiety for said event has already begun. Thanks to the Boston Globe for step one in throwing things for a loop for the Terriers. Nice job stating that BU had won a game they hadn't played yet. What possessed him to write that?
Tried to do my taxes today. Ha! I freelanced for the month of January before I got my regular job. Now I can't file the 1040A. I have to use the long form. Plus I have to file a Schedule C and a Schedule SE for the SS and Medicare tax that company did not deduct from my pay. It's way too confusing. The thought of having to go to a tax preparer for this is getting me even more anxious. And to think I would've gotten a refund if I didn't take that freelance job. Sigh.
