In case you didn't see it, an interesting twist apparently has occurred: one of the couples had a child prior to participating in the show and, as a result, are kicked off the island. Jenna, thanks for the clarification. What is really peculiar about the whole problem is that, according to the article, FOX had hired an outside consultant to do "background" checks on the prospective couples to ensure that they satisfied the eligibility criteria. Presumably, FOX will be getting a refund.

Don't get started about Clarkson......How horible a weekend for Union. First home game I've been to on the season and I'm shocked at what I saw. What happened to the team that was nationally ranked at 11th back in November?? The entertainment in between the periods was more exciting than the game. Hopefully Union will get better as time goes on ( seeing as there is only six games left)so they can be in the top ten. We'll have to see.

I was having the time of my life up in Marquette this weekend. If any of you get a chance to watch your favorite teams play vs NMU on the road, you will love the BEC!!! It makes Lakeview look like a glorified polebarn!

On a sidenote, one of my friends who went up to the UP with me hasn't been to very many hockey games and asked if we were in danger of being hit by a puck. We were behind some high glass behind the bench so I told her not to worry. She came back from the concession and decided to sit in a seat 3 rows up as not to make everybody move to let her in and I'll be ****ed she takes a puck to the knee that ripped the skin off under her jeans!!! God is life sweet or what. Baltimore vs New York in Stupor Bowl XXXV. It don't get any better for me. Of coarse, now, who do I root for, my adopted team the Ravens or the team I lived and died with growing up, THE G MEN. And with $50 in Vegas with my buddy awaiting my bet, who do I place my money on? Hi everyone, first post to the "Team Jen" thread... it just seemed like the appropriate place to say thanks for all the kind words on last week's "List" thread about my anti-listed three (now four) week old baby. My wife and I are celebrating today because this was her due date... sort of a "should've been birthday".

Vic, you must be sky high after the Knights late third period GWG vs. my Engineers. DOH! As for the Super Bowl, my tendencies are to root for whoever's playing against New York (professional) teams, and to root for the AFC, so I'd go with the Ravens (naturally, you'll consider the input from an RPI grad and go with the Giants, right? http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif).
