I decided to tape "Ed" and go out Christmas shopping. I heard that NBC decided to show "West Wing" at 8pm and was excited that I had the foresight to program my VCR. Unfortunately, I noticed that NBC ran a re-run of "West Wing" among other re-runs between Gore's and Bush's speeches. Sigh. I think they're supposed to run the whole slate of shows next Wednesday.

Since NMU doesn't have any games going until the 27th, I guess I'll have to update y'all on the state of the RedWings - Last night we tied with the Blues and on Friday, if you haven't, heard we beat the Avs. Colorado hadn't lost in like 16 games. I'm starting to think the RedWings are like the Lions used to be - they can win the big games and suck when they play everyone else!!

For those of you who are tormenting the salespeople of mail-order companies 'cause you procastinated in ordering, I send you a great big "Season's Beatings!!" - and yes, Next Day Air shipping does cost more than the merchandise.

Can't say that I have been around the board too much since my return from Europe, but never thought I would see the thread down at 15th!

I had to do my X-Mas shopping on Saturday b/c I have no time between now and the big day between work and a trip to NYC to see a show on broadway and the Radio City Music Hall performance.....big mistake.
