One would think you would have at least emailed everyone as to when this game was to start.

Also where do you stat that you discontinued emailing the questions? I do not see it in this thread.

sounds like we might have an official protest/withdrawl from the game

It is bluntly obvious to me that team SLU was not informed as to give a advantage to the CCHA teams. Would it really have looked that bad if team SLU had won CCHA Jeopardy. It appears that the powers of be have made sure they do not.

Is this a conspiracy??

bill:

Hush and be nice. As far as Wilkins, let's just say there were some interesting box scores and news comments about some games he officiated for the IHL (-:

Spaceman:

Did you get the e-mail from Chuck on 6/26/01? It contained all the rules, and was a warning signal that the game would begin soon. It also mentions the part about not e-mailing warnings, which I believe was also mentioned on the 'Call' thread. Anyway, according to the header on my e-mail it was sent to you and the rest of your team, in addition to the rest of the contestants. I hate to be a hard-***, but since Chuck is away from his office on business, I'm going to have to be. I think between the 'Call for Contestants' thread, the e-mail that was sent to everyone with the rules, and how high up in Community this thread has stayed, someone should have been paying attention and noticed. You were given no less notice than the CCHA teams, and the questions are always posted, never e-mailed. Only bets and answers for Final Jeopardy are e-mailed, and that's from you guys to me. Sorry.

Next question is at 4:00 board time (5:00 EST for the rest of us). You're not out of it dude---Team Screw_bill caught up to Team BK in 2 questions with only one person playing---you guys can do better than that, huh? (-:

Wilkins refereed the most poorly officiated game I have seen in the IHL (ever). I don't hold grudges against refs, but he was TERRIBLE. Every team's fans hated him.
I question whether he 'left' the IHL or was relieved of his duties. http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif

or likes to be "relieved" by other men

John, call the next question for the team. I think Annette is not on.

Jen,

Wilkins was an abomination every game last year, but the Ice Breaker took the cake.

Unless someone has issues with it, how about By the Numbers for 20?

john gets revenge on the thunderstorm with the correct answer of BGSU at 5000 seats! Thanks for understanding the intent of the question---as soon as I posted it I thought "Oh ***** someone's gonna say Joe Louis because I didn't say home arena" (-:

FYI: 1) OSU 17,500
2) UNO 8,314
3) U of M 6,343 (for now)
4) MSU 6,170

jen:

"...relieved of his duties..." That's exactly what we thought after what we found (-:

Team BK - 60 pts
Team Screw_bill - 50 pts
Team SLU - 0 pts

Next question (and last for the day) is at 5:00 (6:00 EST). I'll be away from the computer until right before the next question.

john has also picked the Daily Double for the next question.

This is the way it works: Anyone on Team BK can post the wager to this thread, but the first post is official so you may want to talk it over (e-mail each other). You've got 20 minutes from the time stamp of this post to wager, or I'll go with the face value points (20). You can wager up to 60 pts. The question will be posted at the regular time 5:00 (6:00 EST) and Team BK will have 10 minutes to answer it.
