I think I last saw Billy Pye playing roller hockey on ESPN2 a year or so ago. He was a great goalie and was an easy target for the home town crowds.

I'm sorry matt, but unless there is reorganization before the Jeopardy Championship, I think you'll have to wait until next year.

hey Jen, did they do a good job re-palming the gloves? (I love that store ... easily the best hockey store in Ann Arbor ... they were the ones who sold me my helmet (I'll post a URL for pictures as soon as I'm done moving))

Yeah, it does look pretty good. They suggested patching instead of a total repalm ($7 versus $49) so I thought we'd give it a try. Nice patch on the outside, feels smooth on the inside. But, the final test will be: are there blisters after 4 games on Sunday? I'll let you know.

Billy Pye was with the Odessa Jackalopes for some time in the WPHL, then got traded (can't remember where), and had his rights picked up by the expansion Tucson Scorch. However, Tucson's franchise was killed before their first game, and I haven't found his name since then (this was the beginning of this past season, I think).

In my post Thursday at 4:37 PM, I posted the schedule for Friday and also that I had to work away from my computer today so there would be no questions.

While I had posted a schedule for questions tomorrow, we've decided to postpone the game to see if we can come up with some solution to the problems with participation. Nothing's been decided yet, so now would be a good time to let us know which team members out there are still interested in playing, or even if you've been out there but just not answering. Would waiting a week for students to get back to school or people to get back from vacation help? Any input on those issues would be appreciated.
