Last game of the season for me is tomorrow night. We play Boyne City to avenge our 4-1 defeat...Thank God there aren't too many people who come to the games - I think the "Sieve" chant would break my confidence http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif
vicb - do I need to send Fat Tony to give Jenna a message? http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif

A SONORAN MOUNTAIN DIARY (observations of a budding Buddhist)
Well, Day 2 here at the retreat. Yesterday was fairly traumatic, having walked 2 miles up an unplowed mountain road through two feet of snow, wearing only my robe and my Birkenstocks. Having survived that, myself and my fellow converts settled in to an afternoon of meditation and debate (Why do we want to call our new youth mentoring program "Buddah Buddies"?). After our mid- afternoon meal, disciple Tai-Lak Min screamed from the kitchen, "Petr is stuck in the garbage disposal!" Petr is an aardvark, and our companion, and was trying to grab the last scrap of bulgar from the sink when his tongue became inexplicably caught in the garbage disposal....but Buddah's luck was shining upon us, and Petr was freed without too much trauma.
Tonight, we meditate more...tomorrow the sun will shine again...joy an rapture will fill our very souls
Peace my bretheren.

here is a good wake-up link. http://www2.teenstation.com/videochannels/Bhangra_Videos/Daler_Mehndi/ go down to the second to last song, tunak tunak, and download it (real player, just click on it). turn your speakers down some... the song kicks in about 20 seconds into it, so give it a bit from the start. if you don't die laughing at this, then something is wrong with you! http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif
beware, it's addictive!!

Greetings Jens,
I'm back from the Lone Star State. It was 75-80 degrees and sunny all three days and I had to come back to a long drive home in wet snow and a flooded basement. Sigh.
But I'm back in time for the regionals! looking forward to some great hocket this weekend. Good luck to all the teams!
Beth B - Carrie left with Mike Horton. Sami and Austin started to get closer. Brandon came on the scene to help her get Will back from Lucas. While they were working on that, Greta and Austin got closer, went to a virtual reality Garden of Eden (don't ask) where they had to withstand many tests so that Greta could be crowned Princess Von Amsburg. They got very close. Sami, though getting closer and closer to the very hot Brandon, noticed this closeness and decided that she still wanted Austin. I believe she tried to seduce him this week. It's getting really old. She needs to let him go, IMHO. Hope that helps. Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives....

Thanks for the update--that's exactly what I needed to know. Is there any chance of Carrie coming back? I noticed that she is still listed as a character on the DOOL's web page.

Bummer about the indoor pool - I'll have to send you some of our sunshine...It's been really nice (if you like 40-45 degree weather).
I saw in the Globe that some areas got 5 inches of rain. Technically, if it were snow, that would be 60" so thank God it wasn't the white stuff!!

Jenna,
If I wasn't stuck here in the Sonoran Mtns, I'd gladly come over and take a dip in your new "pool".
Hope there wasn't too much damage....

Beth B,
Never say never on a soap. I mean, Jennifer actually came back, along with Jack. You do know the dirt aabout her leaving, don't you? She and co-star Jason Brooks (late of Baywatch Hawaii and formerly Peter) were having an affair and her hubby, Scott Reeves who is on Y&R found out and demanded that she leave the show and save the marriage or he was going public with the story.
Jenna,
Is your pool bigger than mine? We have about 5 inches in our whole basement. Yuck!

Hey let's have a pool party !
I (seriously) wish this had all been snow, except for the travel difficulties involved. It just would feel right in preparing for the Hockey games tonight.
A virtual reality Garden of Eden ??? How do we sign up for that ?
Top o the mornin team. Two barn burner games is WOOSTAH last knight. Go BC toknight http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif.
