Top of the mornin' team! I know, I know, I don't it as well as VicB. Let's call this a lower-cased version until VicB gets back.

In the meantime...

Grrrreeeetings Gang!

Happy Weekend. It's early Saturday morning and I'M STILL AT WORK! C'mon Connecticut Legislature! For God sakes, let's pass this budget while we're still young and restless! GEEEEZZE! The clock is ticking! The fiscal year ends at midnight. Aye, yi, yi, yi, yi!

I am experiencing a two-day hangover and am home from work. How's that for slacking?

Deep Blue

Beth - is that a hangover that was 2 days preparing, or a hangover that has lasted 2 days already ?

One more day of work, then 5 days vacation in Maine. Some hiking, some drinking, some fishing, some drinking, some golf, some drinking, some - oh just skip the other stuff and go drinking !

Sorry guys, the devil made me do it. Wow, if that isn't true insight to my inner evil then i don't know what is. The hangover, which lasted for 2 days, is now gone and I am ready to get it back tomorrow night. Let's see if I can top the last one.

Happy Monday to everyone......where are y'all?

My liver is waiving the white flag right now...non-stop drinking since Thursday night which continues for the next two days with the holiday! We need more holidays to fall in the middle of the week! http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif

Went to a music festival here this weekend and there was a SUPERFAN sighting (yick).

Too far down - moving this up where it belongs.

Hopefully I can slack today. Though I may have to go to the doctor's to get my ears cleaned out. Went swimming over the weekend and now I'm temporarily deaf. What's that you say? Work? I can't hear you. I'll have to go home! http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif

We were gone 12 days and had 1996 emails in the que http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/frown.gif thanks to two Rubber Stamping email groups my wife belongs to. Hope tomorrow everyone will be having the All American Hamburger and Hotdog 4th of July meal, yummy yummy. Expect my wakeup real early tomorrow since the wife and I are some 5 hours ahead.

Happy 4th of July!

I hope everyone had a safe and happy day.

The weather was just gorgeous for once in South Florida in July. Not too hot. Not too humid. Beautiful clear skies all day. A great day for the beach and copious amounts of alcohol. http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/wink.gif

Top o the mornin team. Well it's back to the old grind today for the first time in over 2 weeks http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/frown.gif . Oh how I long for the green of Ireland and it's whiskey, the beauty of Scotland and its Scotch and the gardens in Belgium and its chocolate.

Some observations on the trip. London hotel rooms are the smallest I have ever been in. We stayed in 2 places where the room was slightly larger than the double bed we slept in. Just enough room to get by on one side of the bed. In one hotel they were great on energy conservation. You had to slip your key into a switch that controlled the lights. All the lights came on at once (one in the room and one in the bathroom) and to turn the light off you had to remove the key. The light bulbs were about 40 watts. And if you go to England and most of the places you stay at in Europe (at least the cheap ones I have stayed in http://www.uscho.com/board/ubb/smile.gif ) bring your own wash cloth.
