Where does #58 of 58 in rankings UAH upset over ND last night rank all-time upsets?

    Where does #58 of 58 in rankings UAH upset over ND last night rank all-time upsets?

    I think only the USA beating the USSR in 1980 was a bigger upset. Go UAH -- fight scratching and clawing to save your program ... And if i hear one more person say it was a marginal tripping call last night, i will remind the mighty irish faithful the ONLY REASON their football team had a chance to COME BACK last weekend is because the replay officials overturned a Touchdown by Polk putting Washington up double digits and KILLING ANY AND ALL HOPE for ND football to beat Washington ... so at least be consistent!!

    Any bigger upsets = give me your take?

      I take it last night and the Miracle on Ice game are the only 2 hockey games you've ever seen...

        And does Holy Cross ring a bell? And that's just for hockey.

        NYJ over Baltimore Colts (Super Bowl III) just might make that list, too, if you include all sports.

          i'd say even bemidji over ND last april was a bigger upset, given the stage of the game, it's a lot easier to not prepare enough for an "alabama huntsville" in the regular season than an NCAA tourney game where if you lose you go home. Sports wise overall this is a blip on a very vast radar, collegehockey wise, this is still not very significant, but would make a great story if UAH made it into the ccha or another conference.


          sidenote, very happy for uah's win last night and they played a tough game tonight, gotta admire the kids's determination.

              Actually, this is probably more exciting than the Miracle on Ice. I mean, the whole world was watching this! A victory over communism! Just what this nation needs given our current state. And it couldn't have happened on a bigger stage!
