Because they aren't running this poll on the USCHO Women's front page as in years gone by, we'll do it here. Name the teams that make it to Boston. I'll do it as a private poll, because that is in keeping with how it looked on the front page. If you want your choices to be known, you can always post them.

I'm curious..why SLU so overwhelmingly?

Not disagreeing, just curious...they are ranked but why does everyone so far think they will make it to the FF? What do I not know about them?

because mercyhurst is 0-4 all time in ncaa quarters and slu is 3-1. and mercyhurst is playing it's weakest schedule of all those years.

that said, slu is coming into the tourney getting destroyed by harvard two weeks ago, dartmouth last week, and has been overall awful on the road this year (including two losses at Mercyhurst). If there's any team Mercyhurst should beat in this field, it's SLU.

So far it's about 50-50 on each side, so we'll see.

SLU is the best possible matchup for MC out of the bottom four as they are ice cold. I'd be sure about UMD BC or Darty but I'm not as sure SLU will win.

There are other eastern teams that travel well that also have a shot to get to Boston. I.E. Dartmouth, SLU and UNH. Now if none of these teams win their quarterfinal attendance might be scarce. FWIW, Wisconsin travels well (or at least every time i have seen them)

Think maybe the N¢AA told the refs to go easy on BC so there could be better attendance next week? :p

If you had to bet it all at once;

Wisconsin over Dartmouth

UMD over UNH

Minnesota over BC

Mercyhurst over SLU

Western style regular season schedule is a great playoff groomer.
Could be another Western Final.
