Is Little Ceasars the same team that had all the wins at Stoney
Creek this past December ? Will that be the favorite team ?

It is one and the same. I think it could go to one of three teams. Caesars, Mission, or the Colorado Select. (they don't get a lot of press, but are a very good team)

Mission has a very good team, with Kendall Coyne giving everyone fits. Colorado Select was missing Lindsey Fry during the Polar Bear tournament and had 2 extremely close games against Assabet Valley. Mission & Caesers have had good luck against the Select during in-season league play. It's a toss up.

It is worth noting that Assabet was missing 3 players as well during the Polar Bear, but Colorado is an excellent. Sounds like a great weekend of hockey, I wish I could attend! Good luck to all of the teams.

Nope, don't think so. Think the team to beat is the Ohio Flames. They beat Caesars in their final game of the season, and tied Mission. They are coming in totally under the radar with no pressure at all and have the top 2 scoring leaders in the league and 3 girls in the top 10.

Watch the line of Gina Buquet, Tracy McCann and Kaleigh Chippy, they are special.

I have watched colorado and they have a nice young team. They seem to
play gritty. I have also watched Chicago Mission and it would be fair to say
that they are deep with alot of skilled players. It should be a good weekend
of U19 Hockey.

didn't see Honeybaked vs Little Caesars score (the U14 and U16 brackets were up to date, but no-one had posted any U19 scores.) New Jersey Rockets beat Ohio Flames 3-2.

Watched Mission vs Colo Select. 2-2 tie (1-1 after one, 2-2 after two, no scoring in third). Great speed, great goaltending for both teams. Select had 30 shots on Boyles, Mission had 23 on Kraemer. I'm spoiled by watching the college game - no announcement of anything, so the shots and goals were from my own observations: Routman had first goal for Mission, Boskovich had second. Fry had first goal for Colo, Furia had second.

edit ~~ here is scoresheet: http://www.pointstreak.com/players/gamesheet_full.html?gameid=943047 I was sort-of right :)

Speaking of being me being spoiled watching Div 3 college games, I think these teams would be better served with 3 refs. There was a LOT of stickwork on each other and several offsides that were just not called. Refs were definitely "letting them play." Both teams were flying but they do both play gritty. No player was left untouched when she had the puck - very little freedom to make anything really happen, which speaks to alot of respect for one another.

Hope they update website http://www.pointstreak.com/players/players-division.html?divisionid=26093&seasonid=3779, but I have every expectation these two teams will face one another Sunday afternoon at 2:50pm. I plan to go to championship game no matter who makes it and report back. Rink too far to go to other games this weekend.

Yes, VERY big win. That makes this evenings LC/Mission game very important for seeding. NJ plays Honeybaked (0-2) & Select plays Ohio (0-2).

Why does it take so long for the scores to be posted from these games. Pointstreak has the capabilities to be posted as the game is being played, look at the Winterlude tournament, live stats as the games are going on.

Yes it would be nice to have the scores posted sooner, even the afternoon games have not yet been posted on the league website. Tonight Little Caesars over Mission 1-0.

Is Mission missing players, any injuries? Every team can have an off weekend to be sure, just wondering if there are other circumstances that are having an effect on their play in the games this weekend. By no means am I saying that the other teams that they have played are not quality teams, but for this team to go without a win so far in the weekend, is a little unusual.

Are you at Winterlude ?.

For others not aware. NAHA won their pool, and won over Oakville in the Quarters. Winterlude is in Ottawa, Canada, a big showcase event with 11 PWHL teams, NAHA, Polar Bears, OHA, BC Pursuit. St Jerome and a few others, 20 teams in all.

The semis have NAHA vs Whitby and Mississauga vs Bluewater.
(Ottawa Sens and Polar Bears both lost in the quarters)

New Jersey over Honeybaked 4-2. I think the semi's will be Colorado vs New Jersey and Little Caesar's vs Chicago Mission. Colorado has 3 wins against NJ this year, 5-3, 5-2, and 3-1. Mission and LC have played 3 games with each team winning one and the other ending in a tie.
