Greetings fellow posters.

My wife and I are interested in attending the Frozen Four this year, whether or not our UNH Wildcats make it (which is not likely at the rate they're playing right now). We plan to make a week long trip of this, to the DC area, as neither of us have ever been.

If anybody has tickets they are willing to sell, of course, let me know at kgbelanger@gmail.com, or here on the boards.

But also, we're looking for recommendations for what else to see and do in Washington. We'll hit all the major tourist stuff, but any suggestions are welcome. We're looking for stuff specific to the Frozen Four that a veteran could point us to (skills competition, Hobey awards, that stuff) but also just other Washington, DC things.

Any info's appreciated! Positive rep available here! ;)

Consider taking the train down from South Station.......it hooks up with the subway system in DC. Also, if you want a good laugh, you can come watch me play in the poster's game, if we ever get one organized.

I haven't been to DC since 1984, so I'm not much help otherwise.

If we ever do have a posters game I'll flop around on skates myself. Haven't skated in 3 years but used to play a decent D.

One of these days, I will have to visit the Spy Museum. I can't get used to DC Museums that aren't free. :)

It's pretty neat. You can go in and become a spy too in a simulation with a group of people. I don't think it's too expensive either...
