Does anyone know why RMU isn't doing any better than what they are now? Afterall, they have a great senior class and an U22 goalie. Looks like they take a step back every year. Maybe poor coaching? Thoughts?
RMU's record over the years:
2008-09 (to date) 5 - 8 - 1
2007-08 12 - 22 - 1
2006-07 11 - 22 - 2
2005-06 5 - 24 - 2
I guess I don't see any big backward steps. They do have a very good goalie. However, I think it is a stretch to describe their senior class as a whole as great. They have a large senior class, and veteran teams tend to not beat themselves. But they don't have a ton of offensive punch -- none of their seniors are on pace to approach 100 points for a career. My guess is that they will continue to be a hard-working team that will give a good effort every game. However, I think more often than not, their opponent has had an advantage in raw talent.
They now start a stretch of 8 games where they will most likely be the favorite, so it is quite possible that they will set a new program record for wins again this season.

I guess I was talking more about the dynamics of the team, not necessarily statistics. Why do players want to quit? I have been hearing some disturbing things about the coach and how the team is treated... anyone else?

Definitely not a player. But let's say, for example... one of my teammates had a grand mal seizure in a hotel room on an away trip and the "coach" was nowhere to be found, would not answer his phone and had not left any staff at the hotel and later on would not take her to the hospital... and then sat the team down and made the team promise not to tell their parents about it... I would be disgruntled.
