I'm right there with ya. I have my laptop S-video'd to the TV in the living room. I hope Syracuse comes out strong. For a first year team, they have some "seasoned" rookies. it'll bum me out if Stephanie Marty, being the only Marty, is no longer SMarty:(
1/2 hour of World News Tonight and let the breaking news begin:D

Colgate 4 – Syracuse 3 Final
Pretty much what I expected of Syracuse…crash the net and hustle. I expect the same hard work and effort from Seelys Bobcats. Colgate was slow to start. Two fluky goals early in the first cost them a little bit of confidence. Once things settled down, the Raiders were able to form some passes and put together some plays. Hunt, Brown, Minnick, Milan….all look good. Syracuse’s choppy play was effective for keeping the Orange in the game…but also cost them a few penalties which lead to goals. Also, there was a goal that was called back either in the late first or early second (IIRC) in which Plenderleith covered the puck and basically slid backwards over the goal line. Not the start Colgate was looking for but a win nonetheless. And a good introduction into the realm of D1 hockey for Syracuse. Now the real work begins.

Re Clarkson @ Boston College...
The stands are terribly empty. So far early in the first Clarkson has the possession advantage. BC seems to be up to their old dump and run tactics.

Clarkson - BC
back to back opportunities for each team. both goalies making some incredible bind saves coming from scrums in front of the net.

Sorry. I will.
Score is 0-0 at the end of the first. Clarkson has had the advantage in shots and possession. Zavisza for BC is playing well....other than Schaus she stands out the most. BC is a small team, in stature that is, compared to the Knights. The Eagles are fast, but not organized. They are playing a dump and run game where they have a few breakouts here and there that lead to scrums around the net. Clarkson is a young team with a new coach. They need to find a place to shoot the puck other than Molly's chest and 5 hole. She's got those area's covered.

Goal for BC. #16 Stack. Wasnt pretty, but they'll take it. BC coming on much stronger this 2nd period. The Eagles have issues with passing (or lack there of). Clarkson looks like they need a little more time to become more cohesive.

Clarkson getting majorly outskated here in the 2nd. Thats one major difference that I notice between last years squad and this years. I have no doubt that Shannon will keep the girls in shape.....but they had better keep the hustle on, as if Seeley was still there riding their butts every minute. Near miss for the Knights as I type...
