Not sure if you saw this in the Syracuse thread, but Coach Erin O'Brien has left Plattsburgh State to be an assistant at SU.

Syracuse University head coach Paul Flanagan has taken another step in building the Orange women’s ice hockey program, naming his coaching staff on Thursday. Graham Thomas a former professional player, and Erin O’Brien a two-time All-American at Plattsburgh State, will serve as assistant coaches, working with all phases of the program.
O’Brien has served as an assistant coach at Plattsburgh State for the past three seasons, helping the Cardinals win the 2007 and 2008 NCAA Division III national championships. She was involved in administrative aspects of the program, including recruiting, scouting opponents, video analysis and monitoring student-athlete academic progress. In addition, O’Brien served as an instructor in the Sport and Wellness Department. She has also served as a counselor at several camps. A 2005 graduate of Plattsburgh, O’Brien earned first-team All-America honors as senior after leading the Cardinals to the national semifinals. She was an All-America Second Team honoree as a junior and a four-time All-ECAC West First Team selection. O’Brien earned her bachelor’s degree in childhood education. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in education.
Best of luck to Coach O'Brien.
Now the question is, who will be PSU's new assistant?

Looks like the PSU Assistant job was posted on 6/13/08. The cut-off for applicants is 6/25/08.
One would think someone would jump at the chance to work with and learn from a 3x coach of the year.

I forsee another former PSU player being Houle's assistant again.
Devereux maybe?

Another possibility is Chantalle Rye, who was an assistant with Castleton last season.

It's not a pre-determined site.
Oswego has a nice rink too. Should they host it? ;)
I'm sure Plattsburgh will be right in the thick of things when it comes to NCAA selection time. They lost some good players but they still have some outstanding ones coming back as well as one of the best, if not the best women's hockey coaches in the country behind the bench.

Goguen Tabbed as Assistant Coach
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. - Former University of New Hampshire defenseman Nicole Goguen has been added to the Plattsburgh State women's hockey staff, according to Cardinals head coach Kevin Houle. Goguen replaces former assistant Erin O'Brien, who joined the Syracuse University coaching staff last month.
"Nicole will bring a great deal of experience and knowledge to the program having played at perennial Division I power UNH," Houle said. "She will continue where Coach OBrien left off in being a positive role model for our student-athletes."
Goguen helped the UNH Wildcats to a 115-19-13 record for an .826 winning percentage, three NCAA tournament appearances and four consecutive Hockey East championships from 2005-08. She totaled four goals and 21 assists during her 145-game collegiate career, and was selected to the Hockey East All-Academic Team three times.
A 2005 member of the Canada U-22 National Team, Goguen is from Truro, Nova Scotia. She majored in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science.
Accustomed to high-level women's college hockey, Goguen joins a Cardinals program that has dominated Division III the last two seasons with back-to-back national titles, two Eastern College Athletic Conference West Division regular-season crowns, a No. 1 national ranking for all but two weeks and a 52-3-3 record.
