That is nothing new. He oversees the NEWHL college division games on Thursday nights at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington. The league is comprised of four teams of D1 and DIII players, and provides some very entertaining hockey for both players and fans.

Could be:
If an offer is out, and accepted, NU may want to notify all of the people that they did not get it before they announce it. Also, the new coach may not want it posted until they get the chance to notify all of the players from their former/current team.
My guess, they have a coach...but are not releasing it until the above actions happen. I may be wrong, which has happened.:D

The grapevine is, shall we say compromised, as we have heard various reports on various items at various times...all of which have proven to be erroneous. Better luck getting classified info out of the Pentagon at this point. ;)

I talked to a parent of a player being recruited by NU and they received and e-mail from the asst coach stating that the announcement was forthcoming next week. We shall see.
