Is it me or has most of the college hockey world been blindsided by the fact that New Hampshire has climbed to the number two spot in the PairWise Rankings? The Wildcats have quietly played well over the last couple of months and now are close to locking up a #1 seed in the NCAA [...]

just you, jim...
I've told you over and over that those here largely ignore UNH on a broad media scale...
but CC knows...
NoDak knows...
Nobody is looking forward to seeing UNH on the calendar for the upcoming weekend besides Wildcat fans!:)
but we're ok with all this.
as a matter of fact - we don't care.
all we care about this year is a National Championship and we don't care who notices us because this one is for Wildcat Nation!

It is interesting how this could be a surprise to someone? This is not a program without great success. It is ironic that no one would be surprised if it were BU or Wisconsin who snuck into second, two schools that have made the Frozen Four once in the last 10 years between them. UNH has made four. Also great point blogger, look at the quality wins throughout the year, At BC, At ND, 2 against CC. I'm liking our chances and looking forward to the playoff season. ;)

The 2-0 score and shot differential in the UNH win at Conte Forum are not representative of how much UNH dominated at both ends of the ice last night; will be interesting to see if the Cats can wrap up the HE regular season title tonight at the Whitt, but Gerbe will have 15 extra feet of width on which to use his speed on the big sheet.

Come on now, you should know by now that UND is reserved for under the radar. Seriously, UNH is going to be a tough draw in the NCAA tourney.
