There has been some alterations to the ECAC East schedule this weekend due to problems at Salve Regina Rink. The Salve/Saint Anselm game will now take place Friday November 2nd at 7pm at Saint Anselm. The Salve vs. UMass Boston is now set to November 3rd at Salve for 7pm but not at the Middletown rink but rather the Portsmouth rink.
Other games this weekend include:
Castleton vs. Cortland (nc both Saturday and Sunday)
NEC vs. Utica (nc on Saturday)
Norwich has already opened up their season with a 4-1 Loss to Sacred Heart.
Predictions for the weekend and the season? Salve looks like they may have a stronger team than in the past.

Unless Sacred Heart has really slipped, the N;wich game is pretty impressive as far as Norwich is concerned. First ever game and pretty competitive. Hopefully this bodes well for competition in the league.
I also heard (yes, I know it's old news; but I'm old!) that the ex BC assistant coach who took over Salve has had a successful recruiting class and is looking to really overhaul the program. Will be interesting to see its progress in tonight's game against St. A.
For the year--St. A should do well again. I'm guessing that this group of seniors would love to break through and get a win or two against elite teams. Since they aren't eligible for the tournament(s), taking down Midd, Williams, Bowdoin could help solidify their stature as a truly top 3-5 team and make the first four years of the program quite a story. Some of that success may well depend on (former All American) Cindy Lebel's health and recovery following summer surgery.
