Similarly, the BU men's squad had flukes against Robert Morris and Alaska-Anchorage and played great against the powers of Michigan and UNH.

...Oh come on, I had to!!!

Look, it's early, but yes, BU hasn't done anything noteworthy - good or bad - yet. Neither has anyone other than like, UMD and UConn. And UNH, but we expected them to be good.

Slightly disagree here. BU has played two types of teams: top-ranked and no-wins. Predictably, they didn't fare so well against the top-ranked (a great game against Mercyhurst and UNH on the road, and a good game against Dartmouth at home) and wiped the floor with their no-win.

The exception is the 2-2 tie against UND. And that was a fluke.

I'm not talking about this year alone or about specific wins and losses. I'm talking about the "state of the program." BU is certainly above the bottom teams, but they are not in the same class as UNH, sUeCONN, BC, or PC. Hence the "tweener" label.

Nicely put. I agree. I don't think BU is solidly in the top half of HEA yet, but they've certainly made huge strides.

Recent intel reports suggest that, in addition to forward Meghan Fardelmann, BC will not have either of its dynamic duo (BCWH superfan joe or TonyTheTiger20) present at the game.

The larger BC fanbase is apparently extremely disappointed at this development.

Yeah, Joe has a mandatory meeting for the Heights, and we are both on an intramural hockey team that has its first game tomorrow, and Joe is probably going to have to miss most of that anyway. I was still thinking of going if Joe was going to, but i guess we'll have to miss this one :-(

Don't be mistaken, I am very upset about it. :-( This will be something like 4 games in a row I'm going to miss...

I SHOULD make the NU game next weekend, unless the flight the marching band is taking to Clemson is leaving Friday and not Saturday.... :-\

By the way, I fully take the blame for BC's record in games-I-am-not-at, which right now is roughly 1-2-1...off the top of my head.

HEY, do one thing smart. Wear a face shield eh? My nose splint is awfully stinky, not real sure you want to borrow it ;)

Oh yes, I have a helmet and face shield. T'is required.

I wouldn't want to lose the few brain cells I have!
