I've already done what you want to see. Now, what would you NEVER want to see...

I've experienced several of these. Losing lots of games. Heartbreaking loss. Dump and watch. Dropping the program. :(

How about... "School doesn't fire bad coach."

I'd hate for this one...:

Everyone on USCHO decides that Minnesota is okay. Now we hate your team

...because we don't need ya.

Your team adopts the Dump and Watch
*coughSertichcough*

Oh good Parise, you left this wide open.

1. CAH returns from "retirement" and ruins his perfect post count.
2. Todd Patten contributes more of his "expertise" on politics.
3. Lucia cuts his hair.
4. Dirty promises to stop posting and actually follows through on that promise. :p

CommAv admits the Yankees aren't going to make the playoffs and the earth spontaneously implodes.

Wait a minute, 1994 was the only time Maine was involved in some sort of scandal? Could've fooled me! ;)

Drops hockey, although the everyone decides Minnesota is okay is a close second

I didn't chose these because:

Team loses a ton of games: It already happened for a number of seasons. :(
You get banned from the arena: At least there are road games :)
Everyone realizes Minnesota is okay: At least then I could know that I am the smartest person around :D :p
Massive scandal: It's not like the NCAA will put a lifetime ban on the school. Although recent trends would indicate that the NCAA might possibly do it unfairly.
Your team wins a lot of games, but loses in the NT game in the worst possible way: It's already happened twice. UMD loses to Bowling Green in the national title game in what four overtimes. UMD blows a 3rd period lead to Denver in the Frozen Four, something they hadn't done all season. :(

I think he meant "that's when [it] hit the fan." Not "that's when it happened." :)

That's okay. Even though it wasn't the worst that could happen (see: winning a nat'l championship while still on reduced scholarships in '99), karma came back and gave Mainer's a second helping. I take it you're probably familiar with Maine losing a title in the worst possible way. :D

Indeed.

We had to deal with it too. It constantly bugged me for thirteen years.:D

I've been seeking revenge against posts ever since the championship game lost to Havard. That lost was painful especially as a kid.

I've already sat through years of the Dump and Watch. That was bad.
But I guess not being allowed to be there to watch would have been even worse!

And I dont really see Minnesota becoming most loved underdog of all time.
(sorry Mel and CHA!)

and HA! #2 is funny.
I sat through that season too. we set the record for the most loses ever in the NCAA Div I hockey. yeah - it was bad.

Dirty loses a bet, and actually has to wear a dress. And he's seen by all.

Why is dropping hockey on there? That is the worst thing that could happen because if they dropped hockey then nothing worse could happen because there isn't a program for worse things to happen to.

Nevertheless I voted for that option. ;)
