There is also the possibility of a conspiracy, not unlike the one that has Canadian players bypass their great universities to go to schools in the United States.

Thank you for your clarification. I am so glad we have you to help us on this board! You are BRILLIANT! Did you eat the rest of the pizza???

Ah, well, not right then. I went home with a large pepperoni and a very nice garden salad, which were consumed, in various sized portions, over the next two days. So I thank Mass Hockey for their contribution to my epicurean fancies. ;)

Are you Hux's bodyguard? That depends -- are you saying he needs one?;)

The whole point of this message board is to share information. I saw Hux as trying to do that. You asked what looked to me like an offensive question, not once but twice. If you have something informative to post, I'll be glad to read it. If not, I guess we are done.

Ya know, it might be nice if the women were fighting over me.

The problem with Hux is he tries to pass himself off as some knowledgable hockey guru who passes on some very bogus information. I believe he really does think he's knowledgeable. He's always getting caught passing on things he's supposedly knows as facts that never pan out and on a number of occasions, I have been asked if I know who he is. I know what his name is, however I am not around rinks enough to know the person. I actually had a college coach ask me if I knew who he was because some of the information posted on this board by Hux was not very becoming of the coach and some of the coaches' friends. I keep thinking every time Hux posts one of his entries someone will catch him and question him. I've seen things posted on the Massgirlshockeyforum.net website that is the same way. A smokescreen sometimes and a lot of the people who read that website are not very hockey knowledgable and take his word to be THE WORD. Not good! That's not to say ALL of his information is bad, just a lot of his information is misinformation.

Great - now which one of you (if either) are any of us supposed to believe? That's not a challenge, but an obvious question.

That would better inform the readers of this site. Too often, somebody responds with something along the lines of "Who are you? Who told you this? I think you're lying!" This isn't fifth grade. We all face a balancing act of sharing information without betraying the confidence of our sources. It justs seems to work better if we give other posters the benefit of the doubt without jumping to the conclusion that they have some devious motives.

I readily admit there have been things posted that have not been totally accurate, but when found to be such, have been duly noted, and corrected. I don't claim to be a guru, nor do I aspire to be one. And feel free to point out what is "bogus".

I do enjoy contributing, in a postive and straightforward manner, to a discussion if I feel that can I expand upon what has been posted. At no time have I stated that something is gospel. I happen to spend a considerable time in and around rinks, and those who play, coach, and are involved with the sport, particularly on the women's side.

As far as disparaging remarks on this board, or any other, regarding a college coach I would strongly dispute that, since with the exception of one particular coach, I have no reason to say anything the least bit negative about any of them. My comments regarding the one particular coach pertained to her coaching style, as a result of personal observation, and feedback I had gotten from those that played for her. There was no mention made, positive or negative, of her as a person, or her staff. As such, there is nothing to gripe about.

Should they feel otherwise, have them contact me, since you already know who I am, and how to reach me.

Without going too far off topic and getting too philosophical, one of the great things about the internet is the relatively anonymous free exchange of information. One of the huge downsides is that anybody can say anything, and things that most people never would consider saying in a "live" group or face to face can be said anonymously.

In my humble opinion, YOU spend TOO MUCH TIME on these boards ..... remember what they say about "opinions" .......get a life or a job, whatever suits your fancy! Just a thought ......:D

One last comment, I do not know you, nor do I know how to reach you, (other than within this context). I would be very careful about what you post here ..... regarding a coach, staff or anyone who you "might know".....it is an extremely small community as you must be aware.

Well, ya see, that is the problem. I work on the computer a lot, and I get distracted easily. ;)

It is indeed, though I am not worried about that, since I'm not about slamming people, and my posts bear that out.

You obviously have some issues or history you are simmering over. I could make a stab at it, but will limit myself to saying that this is the time of year when a lot of folks get disappointed and tempers get frayed.

As was pointed out earlier, if you believe there are inaccuracies in information posted on this board or in this thread and you have a basis for believing differently, point the specific inaccuracies out and correct them. If you're just venting, it isn't adding anything.

Nevertheless, I'm interested in various points of view on the subject. OTH, I appreciate and agree with your comments.

Edit:

I could make a stab at it, but will limit myself to saying that this is the time of year when a lot of folks get disappointed and tempers get frayed.
I most definitely see and hear alot of this in the Minnkota district.
