Does anyone know where the NCAA Selection Show is being broadcast? It's been on CSTV the last couple years, but right now their programming schedule (http://www.cstv.com/cgi-bin/tvsched.cgi?monthSelect=03&yearSelect=2007&daySelect=04&date=20070304&chosenCal=0) has a women's basketball repeat down for 6 p.m. Sunday.

It unfortunately fell through this year at the last minute....they had been planning on it up til about 2 weeks ago. The teams will find out via conference call Sunday evening, and I believe that the brackets will be up on the NCAA (and probably CSTV) web sites a little after 6:00 pm est.

You have to put things in perspective here. CSTV subscribers are passionately demanding that they have a second chance to watch the Ohio Valley Conference Women's Basketball Final. The fate of the world really depends on it.

I know for some sports like field hockey, the NCAA has made the selection show available through webcast. I think that's better route than CSTV anyway, since more people can access it that way.

Yes, a very good point. With the higher penetration of internet access vs. cable packages with CSTV, web feeds are a much better solution to the problem.

Harvard at (1) Wisconsin

I am amazed that the selection committee sacrificed bracket integrity like that. Yes, they avoid all intra-conference matchups like this, but Harvard is getting screwed.

When will gametimes be announced?

This is unofficial, but my understanding is that Mercyhurst put in the bid to host on Friday, and UNH, Dartmouth, and Wisconsin all intend to host on Saturday. Start times for Saturday would probably be 1 or 2 p.m. UNH and Dartmouth also have to host men's conference tournament games.

My buddy said that the UNH website had listed the game as Sat @ 1:00, although I can't seem to find it.

So it does say Sat. the 10th @ 1pm if you do that.

Dave,

All the reports Ive heard say that Wisconsin will play at 7:07pm Saturday. This is due in part that they are the ONLY UW team playing at home next weekend.

You think you are getting a break by having to go to Dartmouth?? Be careful what you wish for. The Green are unbeaten at home in the NCAAs. They don't lose these games and they are a machine this year. They know this may be their last shot at a national title for a while.

And yeah, Harvard got screwed royally but if you look at their last sixteen games, they did themselves no favors by not beating a Top Ten team. I can understand the committee not wanting to send them to Hanover but a #8 seed is an insult.
