Kind of the undercard at the Whitt on Saturday afternoon before the men's game vs. Maine, but this one should be no less exciting, and may be more important in the long run.

Both teams have a lot to prove. Boston College wants to prove that the 7-2 thumping down in Chestnut Hill in November was no fluke, and that they can skate with the 'Cats on the big sheet (which will give them confidence heading into the playoffs which will be held on Lake Whitt for the first time). UNH wants to prove that they are still one of the top 4 teams in the nation, and in control of Hockey East.

Will the three players be back for UNH?

Anything else to say other than Bring it on?!?

Yikes, I must have overestimated the importance of this game ;)

Oh, I think it is very important. Gibber this whole weekend for UNH Men's and Women's is important. ITS A GREAT DAY FOR HOCKEY! Any great pictures in the making Gibber? Haven't seen any on here lately. You must have the inside scoop as to wether Faber, Wright Ward and Sheary will be back. What are your predictions?

lol @ joe

im gonna say 4-1 BC, with an empty netter.

i dont know. obviously im biased, i just think schaus is going to be well rested and solid, and i think the bigger ice will give allie, spillane, stack, and the like the room to do their thing. IMHO

Or BC might not be able to play defense at the Whitt... larger ice surface might not contain the 'Cats, who know what they're getting into.

As of right now, BU's chances of playing in the HE tourney are just as good as BC's

.....terrier.....see, this is why you got into BU...

no, BU's chances of playing in the HE tourny are NOT as good as BC's. see, heres the thing, barring a MAJOR meltdown, bc is in. now, BU is 4 points out of a slot. not only that, but UConn has a game in hand on them and providence has 2....

sooooo........i honestly dont have a friggin clue where u came up with ur logic.

i sure wish somebody at a Vegas Sports bar would take that stance. i would remortgage my house, my x wife's house to bet on that one.

put your money on these 4 to play for the Hockey East Championship: UNH, BC, PC & UConn.

OK the way this works is, mathematically, the more points you have, the better chance you have of making the tournament. That means that presently, BC has the best mathematical chance, followed by New Hampshire, then PC, then Uconn. Then BU.

You may of heard of this idea. It's called "Standings," and they're readily available at HockeyEastOnline.com.

Looking forward to this one, unfortunately I have to leave for a few minutes to cover hoops at 3, but hopefully I don't miss much of the action :)
