Baskin has done well and Wright has done VERY well filling in for Anna on the power play & the 2nd line, but I'm not gonna lie, it'd be great to have Anna back this weekend. It makes the team that much deeper.
Deb Spillane did not play in either of the first two matchups vs. UNH, so here's hoping she can make a big difference for BC.

Yeah thanks, but it would still be nice to have your daughter's rocket shot too!
especially after walking three miles from the train station to providence college
the train to UNH is 1) amtrak so it's comfortable and 2) only 28 dollars round trip. can't beat that with a stick.
I'd say it is about 300 feet from station to front door at the Witt, so you will certainly have a whole lot less walking. If you are lucky, UNHcat07 will pick you up in a heated conveyance, and you won't have to walk at all!

Nice of you to say. Hopefully she'll be back to 100 percent next season and firing away at opposing goalies.
Zavisza has a real nice hard shot and she has been getting a bunch of pucks on net with good velocity in the last few games. Spillane and Thunstrom seem to have developed some nice chemistry which is really making that line explosive. And Kelli Stack is playing her best hockey of the season.

Stack to me is on her way to becoming the best player in the country. Enough said!!

Easy!!!, friend,.....there might be a few people out there that agree with you but I'm not one of them only because it's too early to evaluate her at the next level,.....she can play, no question; but her development or non-development needs time and is still up in the air,.....

UNH = beatable.
It was nice to meet the UNH fans tonight @ BU. Quite a following.
I think they're going down on Saturday, though.

That's why I said "on her way" and I'm talking USA not including Canadians, Swiss, Swede's etc., who are playing at the collegiate level.

it was also nice to talk to the providence coach at the UNH/BU game as well. he was saying how me and joe, along with the UNH fans, are very good fans and was thanking us for what we do. it was rather flattering

It's called prognostication. In reality we don't know anything until it actually happens.. guess we should get rid of these message boards, then

slow down on that one. before you can get into that elite status one must bring her "A" game to the big game. how often does she rise to that next level when it is a big game? not very often.
that was her staple last year at Honey Baked. she was something like 0-14 in 14 big games. she never scored against SSM, not against Assabet and has she gone to that next level this year against the big teams?
she has the ability and the skills but she is a long way from being at the elite level. hell, she's just a great freshman

Deraney is a good guy, he's been really personable every time I've talked to him, and he even thanked us for coming down at PC. As soon as he takes a step on to that bench though he becomes public enemy #1. :D

Maybe my sign touched something personal from his past? :p

Wonderful :)
We missed her presence. This gives us two prolific lines again and allows Wright,Baskin et al to strengthen the bottom two lines and not gas themselves having to cover the 2nd line & power play.

Huh? UConn? Ohhh yeah.
You know, even though this game is really important , I'd consider playing Ellison. Schaus might need a break!
Also, more ice time for Wiedmeier please  thanks Mutch - I know you see this and you listen to my advice very carefully :D. I will stop raising funds for the Tom Mutch statue unless Wieds gets some PP time in the next 5 games :D
