Score is tied 0-0 after run. Sounded like St Cloud had a pretty strong period to start the game.

Gophers win 5-2 today in St Cloud. Sounded like a nice game for the Smurf line. Nichols got two goals and Graft had two assists. Miller had a goal and two assists for the Gophers. Maunu got her first career goal and Zebro got her first career assist.

Nice road win over a determined Husky team today. A strong 3rd period for Minnesota was the difference. Great effort by Gigi to take the lead and a beauty of a feed from Miller to the stick of Maunu for her 1st tally as a Gopher. The Smurf line tenacious throughout as usual today.

BTW folks, for those not in attendance at the NHC, Kim Hanlon was suited up on Friday.

A good sign me thinks.
