I made this project primarily to gather UND-centric blog stories for the front page of SiouxSports.com.

However, I've since found it useful to quickly check on everything that's going on in the hockey blogosphere. So, I put just a little more polish on it and thought I would throw it out there in case any of you similarly find it useful.

Note that using the category selector on the right, you can switch from viewing all college hockey blog posts to just WCHA, etc...

I added that one to the site, but it is a somewhat user-driven site. Anyone can check if a blog is currently listed by looking at the Blogs list (http://collegehockeyblogs.com/listfeeds.php) page, and if not you can add a blog by clicking "Suggest a blog".

After just over 3 years of neglect, I made some updates to this project that make it a bit prettier and might make it more useful for other people.

Most significant are the widgets that let you embed the latest college hockey blog posts into a side panel of your own blog. Those are also available filtered by conference. Also added dozens of new blogs, dropped dozens of expired blogs, blah blah blah... check it out if you like college hockey blogs:
