Anybody out there have any observations from the Sunday game OT??
Is this a greatly improved Robert Morris University( in Pittsburgh) not to be confused with the RM college?? What about St. CLoud - how do they look??

shots on goal were really one sided, but SCSU have to come from behind for the tie. Huskies get a good weekend from their freshmen. SCSU controlled the game on friday.

Maybe RMU made the better adjustments for Saturday's game after watching the film Friday night.

I went to the game on Sunday against the Mavs and they werent the greatest of teams that I have seen in the past couple of years. I realize that they played three games in three nights, but it was pretty lopsided. The shots were something like 59 to 19. The Mavs were all over the place with a good amount of team speed. Thier first couple lines are very dangerous it seemed. It should be a good season this year for the WCHA with many teams improving from last years teams.

3 goals/46 shots by SCSU per box score on this website, which is still outstandinding.

Other goalie not so lucky vs MN state: 6 goals/53 shots

In the 3-3 tie on Saturday, St. Cloud "rested" #1 goalie Lauri St. Jacques and the two backups--Kendall Newell and Carmen Lizee split the game. RMU had 3 goals on 17 shots, while the Huskies scored 3 on 46 shots.

RMU's goaltender was excellent both games.

If Lizee plays all the games, I think we will do allright, but the #2 & #3 Goaltenders were a little shakey. Robert Morris was actually a lot better than I was anticipating. I think they came out flat against the Mavs because they played 2 tough games in SC the previous 2 nights....Can't fault them for that.
