Any idea on the seating capacity. Looks to be only a few rows of bleachers on the sidess and ends, though it doesn't really take much to get 1200-1500 when you go all the way around the rink.

The New Brigade Sports Complex, home of the Dr. John J. McMullen Hockey Rink, is under construction. They are confident that first sheet of ice will be open as planned for October.

Here are a few pictures of the contruction site as of July 8, 2006 showing lots of drain pipe and heavy equipment on hand.
Yeah, I see the heavy equipment and pipes. What I don't see is the building. Maybe that's October 2007 :confused:

They don't plan to have the entire thing ready by this fall, only a portion of it.
Construction is just now getting underway so the entire facility will not be finished this Fall but there will be one rink in operation at the start of the season.
