given my location, mine this year is "rocky mountain oysters." :D
Currently "Fighting Carloseses", although that may change if I'm struck by some other inspiration.

We Suck
although Critter Nagurski or Gee, you knit? are also good ones. :)
So far, my two are:
The (Hometown) Teal Sox (an homage to the ghastly Teal Bomb era in sports, and I figured if the White Sox and Red Sox can win, why not the Teal Sox?
And: The Mind Bullets (reference to a Tenacious D song)

My actual team name is Lunch Money
And: The Mind Bullets (reference to a Tenacious D song)That's telekinesis, Kyle!
I might steal that one, it's better than mine.

If by chance you like the band 'The Mars Volta' their lyrics are full of great names. Boxcar Cadavers and Fecal in Origin are two that I have used.
In a more baseball theme:
The Cream
The Clear

I use "Head first into Third", which covers my 2 favorite sports
I base mine off odd baseball injuries.
in the past.. Rickey's Freezerburn (also Henderson's Freezerburn).. Barberie's Nachos
this year, I am Glenallen's Spiders
I offer up Steve Sparks' Phone Book for the taking, though. Or maybe Coleman's Tarp Machine. Barmes' Deer Meat is also a good option. Or Bob Ojeda's Garden Shears.
