Intermission guest added for Saturday. Unfortunately, I could not persuade her to move up her analyst debut a few months since she wants to remain a fan this weekend, so this is our compromise.

Amy Vermeulen will return to be guest analyst this Saturday. Grateful tip of the cap to both Wisconsin and Mercyhurst for helping provide leads.

Second guest analyst added from the Mercyhurst camp in the person of Sara McDonald. Three-person booth for radio hockey can be tricky but in this case, I think it will make for the best listening experience since each analyst will be focused on the team she knows so well.

Will the WCHA get a 2nd team in the frozen four, or will all four conferences be represented!?!?!?

Sounds like a good game, third period still to come :)

I dont know what you watching, the game Iam sitting in has been the opposite of good. Bad play by both teams, too many missed shots and stupid penaties. this is not the same badger team that has been on the ice this season.
I said SOUNDS like, obviously not listening, I'mw atching 4 games on TV>... and have listened to 3 others...
going by what I have to hear sorry about that

Since you're there... is it a negative for Wisco playing away from the Kohl (big sheet vs. smaller sheet?)

just curious

was it the NCAA that didn't allow you to play Sunday or was it the school's choice? I would think they'd want more time off before the semi final but who knows...

how's the attendance there?

13:45 to go, 1-1

Delayed start while some water was cleaned off the Ice.

why the NCAA wouldnt let us play at home on sunday is beyond me. The NC$$ would have made alot more money had it been at the Kohl. we could have easily sold 8,000-9,000 tickets.

still 1-1 few minutes into the 3rdIt still baffles me that HS bouncyball trumps hockey. An NCAA regional...1st time in UW women's hockey history...and we have to play at the Cap Ice Ctr?! What's the Fieldhouse being used for tonight? Next time UW & the WIAA sign a contract, UW should make sure they have the ability to move the HS BB tourneys if things like hosting a regional happen.

UNH had to play last night because of a new england cheerleading competition all day today.. it was a pretty good draw (over 2000 first time ever) but I imagine it would have been better tonight....)

13:45 to go, 1-1I'm guessing it was the NCAA's call...wihockeyguy works for the athletic dept or in some similar capacity and would know the story.

I believe the ice was pulled out of the DC already... go figure!

Why didn't they go to Hartmeyer?

Apparently 1500 fans in an arena whose capacity is 1300. Standing room only. Wisconsin wins the quarterfinal attendance competition this year.

Edit: Ooops, or maybe not. Sounds like UNH did even better!
