I will give 5-8 appearances by Foulke before you're all on board that he's ineffective and it's hopeless.
Why you all have such confidence is beyond me but I do hope I'm completely wrong.

Blue Rocks have announced their roster. Lowrie, Ellsbury, Bladergroen, Pinckney, Schroyer and Hottovy are all there, among others. Natale was not promoted from Greenville. Somewhat surprising there, but if the glove comes around, he should be up sooner rather than later.

Aren't you the same guy who bet/picked against the Pats in the last three Super Bowls they were in? Not saying you're wrong here, just saying your track record...isn't the best. :p

Those predictions were an obvious sarcastic joke. This one, unfortunately, is not.

I am not overly confident in Foulke, but he is a pretty proven closer who had 1 bad year recently. No need to go crazy yet. Give him a chance.
Our minor league teams are beginning to be stacked, it's exciting. Minor league games are worth going to again.
Chad Epperson was promoted from Greenville to Wilmington as a manager this year. That guy is the man.
I already have plans to go to Pawtucket/Portland/Greenville in the coming weeks, but I am having trouble finding an excuse to go to Wilmington (I hate the area, besides).

The Metrodome has turf everywhere, doesn't it? The only place there's dirt is around the bags, I believe, so he'd have to do a lot of running on turf.
Yep.

It's not so much that I have confidence in Foulke at the moment. It's more that I feel he is still a good closer, though he is going through some issues right now, and I am hopeful that he is able to work throgh those issues and return to the form he found in the late months and playoffs of 2004. I want to see him on this team come Fall, and I want to see him helping the team into and through the playoffs.
Why do I think any of this is possible? Well, I seem to remember him not being exactly dominant in the first half of 2004. Perhaps some of the more stat-friendly posters can refute or back up my claims, but I just feel like he'll get better as the season goes on, the way he did in 2004.
Ugh, Wakefield's struggles against Texas continue (worst record vs. any team)...

I hope your nipples get caught in a helicopter blade.
edit: Josh Bard needs to learn how to catch the knuckleball. Soon.

Well on the positive side Crisp looked Great, and Lowell looked alright.
Someone needs to wake Manny up and tell him the season started.
I had an eery suspicion Texas was going to score a good amount of runs tonight, though I thought the Sox were going to score decently as well.

Well a beating of a very sharp looking Wake by the Rangers wasn't ALL bad. At least Foulke didn't come in. :D

Good news is, Willy Mo Pena is only 1 homer behind Arroyo this season ;)

Good for Arroyo. Shoppach is in for the Indians, too.

The renovations of Fenway look awesome. I can't wait to see it in person next month.
Of course, my seats on the right field roof are about 4 light years away from what once was the .406 club, but still.

Despite the ball arriving about the same time the runner was about 8 feet from home plate, Varitek just (and I mean just) gets the tag down in time. Way to blow that one Rangers.
