Can you tell us maybe who some of these schools beat, lose to or tie just to make it even more interesting.

My typing skills are far too weak to permit such a detailed response, but here is another prediction: SHU(12-13-3).

I'm guessing his Middlebury loss/tie would be at the hands of St Thomas and Plattsburgh :P
For the west I'm gonna be biased...lol but i'll do it anyway.
NCHA
Team Current Record Final Record Who they beat/lose
Finlandia 7-8-1 9-13-3 go 1-1-1 vs EC split St Marys
UWEC 5-9-1 6-16-3 1-1-1 w/ Fin tie point at home
LFC 11-4-2 13-10-2 beat EC and Beat Point once
UWRF 9-6-1 14-10-1 loses to superior(3x) and Point
UWSP 8-4-3 16-5-4 loses to LFC and ties UWEC
Superior 12-2-1 21-2-2 wins rest xcept ties UST
Lake Forest has the toughest road ahead as 7 of its last 8 are against UWS, UWSP, and UWRF.
MIAC
St Kates 0-10-0 0-23-0 They are just that bad
St Thomas 11-0-0 22-1-2 Tie Middle & UWS..split w/ GAC
GAC 10-1-1 20-3-2 Tie Platty, lose to mid, beat
williams, split St thomas
I didn't realize GAC still had an eastern trip yet. Should make for an interesting run. The rest of the MIAC will be a free for all. Augsburg and Olaf will be 3rd and 4th, St Kates will be last....can't really predict the rest.
My UWS bias shows through, but i think it could actually happen.

How can you think UWRF will be a challenge to the "Lake"?,.....my goodness, they lost how many games out east, 2? or was it 3?,.....be as biased as you want, (especially with Wisco schools), but it's not exactly like the Tampa Bay Devil Rays on a road trip to New York, Boston, and Chicago,.....

I meant Lake Forest had the toughest schedule left in the NCHA. The other schools have games against Hamline, St Kates, and Eau Claire. River Falls is a good team...which you would think most people would realize by the fact they nearly beat middlebury. They are much better than your ****ty neumann team, which if i remember correctly got beat by that crappy River Falls team 3-1. If Neumann is a real contender as u and MIC continuously banter on this message board....shouldn't they beat a crappy team like RIver Falls. Having watched lake forest last weekend....they aren't that good of a team. I'm sorry to the elmira fans that got beat by them...but they are no Stevens Point, Superior, GAC, or ST thomas..or yes even a river falls.
I realize having said that that I said Lake Forest would beat Stevens Point at the end of the season. I did that more out of wishful hoping, as we need Point to lose a game.

Whoa fella,.....let's get the facts straight; evidently, NEUMANN vs RF was game 3, that's right, game 3, IN THREE STRAIGHT NIGHTS-ON THE ROAD with the flu hitting the NEUMANN team on day 1,.....not to make excuses, but this is D-3 hockey and NO team can afford what was reported to be NEUMANN having 5 or 6 players out of the line-up against a team like RF,.....and to answer your question, YES, the KNIGHTS chances of beating a RF type team are very good, given normal circumstances, but, as I have said previously, this is a crazy year with who wins and who should win but doesn't, in women's college hockey,.....and oh, by-the-way, I don't remember calling RF a crappy team,.....who?, oh yeah, YOU CALLED RIVER FALLS A CRAPPY TEAM, but you also call RF a good team; which is it???.....just want to make sure we get the facts straight, friend,.....

Assuming I am filling in the *'s correctly, I am getting the feeling you think Neumann is a "crappy" team. Crappy? Get real. You know what the deal was that weekend as Camman has already pointed out. Don't be a hater!!! Come aboard the bandwagon. Help me pass out flowers at the airport. Peace, not war. Turn that frown upside down. Where's the love man???

I look forward to Neumann being in the top ten at the end of January, as you so confidently predicted. You are always right, as you are so fond of saying. How did you put it? Oh yeah...here's a quote from late November..
"Neumann will be top 10 (definatly better than Lake Forest) by the end of January.
If I said it, it must be true."
Let's just see if you're as wonderful as you seem to think.

Sorry camman...i interpreted this.....

as you saying UWRF is a crappy team. Because they didn't fare well on the eastern trip. Make all the excuses you want..Neumann still lost..they team had all their starters against Augsburg and lost. You also say RF won't be a challenge to Lake Forrest, yet call them the TB Devil Rays of D3 HOckey, who finished with the 2nd worst record in MLB.
predictions, predictions, predictions....
all these rantings just go to show that any team can rise to the occasion or fall of the bandwagon ( sorry, no remark towards neumann intented ).
Any win is going to be hard fought for by every team, both east and west, crappy or not!
So let's not get into name calling of fans or teams. We all know girls on these teams and on opposing teams, and have watched them play over the years...
and we know that a lot of players also follow this thread..I am sure they are impacted by some of the comments, for good or ill.
So let's try and keep our comments objective and let the girls play the game. Or are we all trying to live the game vicariously through this board? :o
