Should be a great rematch tonight with Point at Gustavus.
I'm making the treck to the game, I'll see if I can make some calls from the arena between periods to get people updated...

Looking at the stats.. shots were well in favor of the Gusties
I'm thinking the Gusties ran into Stonewall Statz

I couldn't make it to the game, but I heard it was pretty good. Sounded like a sloppy first period, followed by domination by GAC toward the end. Shots were well in favor of GAC, so sounds like Satz had a good game. Anyone who was at the game have some info?

It was a great game as usual between these two teams. Player of the game was Amy Statz. Play of the game was the pad save on Molly Doyle's penalty shot, Point was fighting off a 5 on 3 late in the 2nd period when a player covered the puck in the crease. If Statz doesn't make that save the score would have been tied and the Gusties continue on with their two player advantage, there were at least six good saves during that two minute span.
Gustavus continued into the third dominating on the offense and Statz continued making good saves, she stopped 12 more in the third. Point fought off three more penalties in the third and played great team defense and only had four shots on goal, hard to get shots when your always fighting off a penalty.
The Gusties continued controlling the offensive zone for four to zero shot advantage.
Hope they meet again in the NCAA's :)
