Looking over scores and games so far its nice to see that the Womens game has tightened up a bit. Some of the new programs, new Division Ones and former Division Threes, have been handling the more experienced and established programs quite well.
I look at Boston University, who has beaten Northeastern, Union, and Vermont twice, and has a tie against BC and has a win over Providence.
Quinnipiac has a win and an OT loss to BC, has a win over Northeastern, a win over Vermont, and a Tie with Yale. RPI has the win over Colgate.
Since a few, or some of the players on these teams, not all, but some, were probably passed over or not recruited by the established Division Ones, it must be nice for those players to compete, and win some of those tilts.
