Huskies need to sweep this weekend, and I believe it's in their power to do so. Has Mankato won any games yet?
Mav fans -- I think Skeeterman is calling you out.

I know they lost at least one....(and they're #10 Ranking.... :D )
GO BEAVERS! :)

I guess I forgot that there are no Mankato fans.....at least none that are literate. Maybe they haven't heard of the internet and message boards down there.
Ambition is a poor excuse for not having enough sense to avoid work.

Last time I checked Skeeterman, they took 3 of 4 points in Columbus. How did the puppies do out there? Oh wait, no points as the Buckeyes sweep. At the time I think Mercyhurts was #4 or 5 and the Mavs shut them out in Erie. I guess you're right, they didn't beat anyone this year. Before you go any further, I realize the Huskies did sweep BSU and MSU split with them.

How about the fact that they are 7-4-1 with 8 forwards for most of the year. Not bad, plus a really good recruiting class for the second straight year.

Skeets...This is Politcally Correct weekend at SCSU! If we can't call the Sioux "The Sioux", then we can't call our friends from Mankato "Lost Cows". The correct term is "Unbranded Range Cattle". I'm sure they're not lost, I understand 8 of their forwards show up for every game!
How about the fact that they are 7-4-1 with 8 forwards for most of the year.MSU can't be as starved for forwards as you make it sound, or they'd move Autumn Conway up front, where she's played for much of her career. They are hardly as thin as Dartmouth was at times last year. I'm sure they'd like to have people like Young and Hewitt available, but 16 skaters should be enough.

Considering most NCAA teams don't roll 4 lines consistently they should be ok with 8 forwards. They are fortunate that they didn't lose Nelson for longer at the start of the season or haven't lost anyone else for the season.

They have been moving Conway up front, Herold has also missed the past two weeks I believe. Hewitt and Young are done for the year, and Vis has also missed some time. I am not making excuses because I think they have been playing very well with what they have, plus its exciting that they have another great class coming in, as well as getting Hewitt and Young for 4 years and adding Lindsey Macy who we all know has already proven herself in the league. They are going to be an exciting team for quite a few years.

The problem with adding Macy will be team chemistry. She has an excellent nose for the net and a physical game, but she has to keep her head in the game. She has a tendency to take some stupid penalties when she gets frustrated. I would assume the coaching staff will have her on a short leash next year.

Top Row, thanks for the correction. I should have said Lost Calves. Whatever happens, I have a feeling we are in for a Husky sweeps weekend.
Political Correctness will be the downfall of society.
LC fans, quit living in the past. It doesn't matter who you already beat or lost to, what matters is today and tomorrow. You're in for a pounding.

Out of curiosity, is SCCC using a goalie this weekend or are they putting the plastic board in front of the net with the corners and 5-hole cut out?

WOW! That sounds like the same thing we tell Husky Fans every week!

BBF, nobody ever accuse the SCCC fans of being the most original. I'm just waiting to see how long it takes them to blame Lesterberg (or Loserberg as Skeeter likes to call him) for the record.

I know It would be wise to stay out of this but this really sounds like a guy who already has his Thanksgiving crow stuffed and cookin' in the roaster.
Will you be having a side of crow with your crow?

There is no way the Huskies will come close to pulling out a win this weekend, the MAVS have tomuch fire power up front and a solid goalie in the pipes, to lose to them.. The loss to BSU happened and it was a lesson learned and its over.. Huskies have nothing to ffer this year, like previous years.. And don't pose a threat to the league and the Mavs this weekend...

I hope your right, The Huskies worry me a little bit, they should be almost done with game 1 right now if anybody knows the score please pass it on. GO MAVS
