I just looked on USA hockey website. A new roster is posted minus Darwitz but with Rush. Anyone know anything?

Sorry I jumped the gun, it says Rush is stepping in for Darwitz who is injured.

This is exactly why Mr. Smith should have kept 3-4 extra players on his roster until he had to cut it down to what ever number it has to be at before the Olympics. He should have kept players like Rush and Keady around and a good defenseman (which position I think he should have spent more time on and invited more numbers to camp). Good defenseman in girls hockey are tough to come by. I hope Darwitz will be back soon and it is not a nagging injury. She is a pleasure to watch play the game.

Indeed. I think she's one of Team USA's most dangerous forwards. Hope she's back to full strength when I get my chance to see the team at the X on Sep. 30th, if not sooner...see if the WCHA All Stars can shut her down. :) Get well soon Dar !!
