Word is circulating the campus about the impending resignation of womens hockey coach Bill Mandigo. According to outside sources Bill feels it's time to move on and take his talents to a DI program in North Dakota. Unsure if the impending opening of the head coaching position will be filled internally by first year players* or whether they might look at Bowdoin for a fix. Anyway this is BIG! news out of Panther Land, surely this will be headline news after ESPN gets wind of it.
Stay tuned for more on this.
*After all with the state of this program these kids could keep the system winning better than the outside fix.

Found out that there's a chance that he could be eyeballing another DIII school only because he's sure he can come up with a sure fired system of beating Midd out for the campionships.

thats what i was thinking at first...
However, if this is indeed not a joke...Coach Mandigo would be following the exact same footsteps of Jaime Wood of Elmira 2 years ago. Win 2 National Championships and then leave.
Hey - Great APRIL FOOLS joke!!! Get a life, buddy.

Bill Mandigo isn't going anywhere, so don't even go there (suggesting that it's not a joke),.....and his continued tenure at Middlebury will be one of your worst nitemares, because winning follows Bill like a shadow, and that has to be extremely problematic to all D-3 programs,.....and by the way, this is a very humble guy who doesn't want his name mentioned in this forum in any capacity for any reason, so go back and debate the value of using distilled water when resurfacing ice rinks or something of that nature,.....

Either way..i didnt start the rumor there chief so why are you blasting me?
And with Mandigo being the coach at a top program like Middlebury. His name is going to be mentioned every day on this board. Its the price to pay that comes with fame and winning...deal with it.
Im thinking 14 years old at the oldest from you?
