Of course, you would think Roy was over rated-your daughter was one of the Cards other goalies that didn't see as much time in net. There was a reason for that -Carolyne is the BEST goalie the Cardinals have! She's done an outstanding job for them and she's one of the best in D3!

Think you need to review history before you make foolish comments. Look at the facts and understand who and where my daughter plays doesn't factor here.

Carolyne may be the best goalie Plattsburgh has but clearly she's not one of the best goalies in D3... Again, look at games determined by 1 goal and career save percentage.. Carolyne is below 500 and 92%... That means she's being outplayed in net and that's the facts in any league.

Also, considering the team she's playing on don't you think the save % is a bit low? 92% is fine for a weak team that gives up a lot of scoring opportunities but for a top ranked team I would expect a save % closer to 94%. Compare Roy to Racine. Racine is somewhere around 93.5% vs Carolyne's 92%. Clearly the difference in Elmira winning 4 years in a row!

I believe in any league, any where, any time that goaltending is the most difficult position to play in "any" sport.. As a skater you can have an off night but if your goalie does and the skating talent is anywhere near close you will lose.

In my opinion as a coach and fan of hockey Carolyn is a fine goalie but not a great goalie and is over-rated because she plays on a great team.. That's my opinion and I'm sure she won't lose any sleep over it and I don't expect her or you too. How do you think she'd perform on a weak team. It would be interesting.

I hope Plattsburgh "can" win tomorrow, they should, but like ALL close hockey games, in any league, IT COMES DOWN TO NETMINDING!

And yes, I am a goalie freak. I've study goaltending for 40 years. I understand the position both skill wise and from a mental state. Believe me theirs nothing easy about netminding.
